Kreuther Fondue Stube

Another nice night at the Kreuther Fondue Stube, a place that is only open for a limited number of months during winter, serving Cheese Fondue, meat fondue, veggie fondue or fish fondue.
Each is served in this very traditional looking «Stube» with a big fire going in a corner.
The fondues come per 2 people and with a gigantic array of sides (from cucumber salad, radishes, lentils, potatoes, fries, bread) to sauces (BBQ, Remoulade (a kind of tartar sauce), cocktail, garlic) salad. If you run out of sides (which I doubt you will) they will bring more.
Very nice selection on wines, a VERY attentive and friendly staff.
They don’t get the full 5 Stars as the fire place had some issues that took a while to get sorted, so we left the place happily fed, slightly toasty but also with a beautiful smokey finish on us and our clothes.

Im Hotel Bachmair Weissach gibt es die Kreuther Fondue Stube mit einem Weltklasse-​Käsefondue, sehr aufmerksamem und freundlichem Service und einer tollen Atmosphäre am offenen Kamin.
Für einen Wintertag am Tegernsee mit schneereicher Alpenromantik kann ich mir kein besseres Abendessen vorstellen.
