I had a wonderful time at Kaffee Stark! What a sweet place to grab a seat, a warm drink on a cool day, and have an amazing conversation with a friend. The café is welcoming and cozy.
The area around this café has many small/​local shops to discover. I will be back to explore when the sun starts coming out!
Looking forward to going back and trying a new drink! Or see it in the summer when outside seating is available.

Un vrai petit nid douillet que le Kaffee Stark. Rien de tel qu’un bon chocolat chaud ou un thé brûlant pour vous réconcilier avec l’hiver hambourgeois. C’est bien simple, voilà un endroit où l’on se sent comme chez soi, le service en plus. La salle haute de plafond au design recherché sans être imposant ou tape-à-l’oeil est particulièrement agréable. Il y a de la brique nue, des murs un peu décrépis sans l’être, un grand vitrail, des fauteuils desassortis, une estrade et même une boutique au fond du café. On y vient, on y revient, on y re-​revient. Le mot gemütlich y prend tout son sens.

Really cool independent café in St Pauli. The décor is great (check my photos), the staff nice, and the location is brilliant — especially in the summer. Walk past in the summer and you’ll find people spilling out onto the street
Highly recommended on a sunny afternoon.
