El Keller de Chile

Best place in Hamburg to try typical Chilean food and drinks. No matter your nationality, you are welcome to join, talk and have fun with everybody at the bar. They will receive you with open arms… As Chilean people do in Chile. I’m really glad I returned to this place, as the aura is fantastic and the Piscolas and Empanadas were amazing! Next time I must try an Italiano, which I just couldn’t try for lack of space in my belly!

Ich war neulich das erste Mal im Keller de Chile… eine Freundin bestellte mich dorthin. Und hätte ich dort keine Verabredung, würde ich mich wahrscheinlich nicht hinein trauen. Darunter leidet dieses sympathische Bistro ganz klar: Man geht über eine Metall-​Treppe ins Souterrain und dort waren wir dann auch die einzigen Gäste. Leider! Denn das Bistro liegt absolut versteckt in der Kurve des Henriettenweges und das Schild sieht man auch nur, wenn man direkt davor steht — also keine Chance auf Laufkundschaft.
Das Bistro besticht durch einen sehr sympathischen Inhaber (Hut ab! Da kommt freundlicher, charmanter und lustiger Flair unter die Gäste) und sehr leckere Speisen. Da es lediglich ein Imbiss ist, stehen sehr einfache Speisen im Vordergrund, aber die haben es in sich: Absolut meisterhafte Empanadas und Sandwiches mit der besten Guacamole in Hamburg! Dazu ein Bier und die Welt ist in Ordnung!
Tipp: Empanadas & Co werden auch als Take-​away angeboten!
