Super freundlich. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Gerne mag auch den Salat mit den speziellen Hähnchenteilen. Wir waren noch nie enttäuscht, immer sehr zufrieden. Weiter so.

Being an Indian American I just have to say wow. Great food, good price. If I were a poet I would come up with some better words to describe the way the steam floated out of my cup into the sun light. Blah blah.

Selten so gut gegessen, alles sehr frisch und bestens abgeschmeckt, meine Frau, meine Tochter und ich gleichermaßen zufrieden, unbedingt empfehlenswert…

Sehr guter Service, freundliches Personal. Das Essen war einwandfrei. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist das Brot, welches frisch gebacken wird. Für alle die ein gutes indisches Restaurant suchen die ideale Adresse !!!

Today, we went to this restaurant for first time to celebrate our friend’s birthday.
We were expecting normal food but the lady with such a sweet smile and having a voice like bird served the food while talking to us in Punjabi (Indian Language). The Aroma of the food was making us drool and we just wanted to start.
We could not resist ourselves and then attacked on food. She was still serving another items.
We ordered following items :
1. Matar-​Paneer (Peas & Cheese): It was mind blowing, perfectly fine cooked and the spices were precisely in that amount which we asked for. Paneer was fresh and it melted into mouth. I am a kinda foodies and honestly speaking even some good restaurants in India can’t compete this Matar-​paneer vegetable. It was pure authentic.
2. Malai-​Kofta: Usually, I avoid this because my stomach feels heavy after having this. But after having «Matar-​paneer», I could not resist myself and next moment it was on my plate. I tried it with spoon first and I could not believe that it was too delicious that I did not had words that time to explain its taste. It was bit different from typical Malai-​kofta and that made it very very delicious for me. It was bit sweet but that was just enhancing my desire to eat more & more. I think I should stop writing about it more because I am drooling already.
3. Dal-​Makhni (Lentil): This is something that only North-​Indian knows its authentic taste. I am very choosy about this and was expecting that this would not even reach the average level of my taste. I am eating it for last 20 years so my expectations were really high from this. And when I tasted it with Indian bread (Naan), I totally lost into it and did not believe that this dal makhni’s taste went beyond my expectations. So I decided to taste it again but without Naan and honestly speaking, I finished the all dal-​makhni floating on my plate. I felt that authentic taste of butter/​clarified butter (I am still confused if they gave a final touch with butter or clarified butter) which is not easily available in India as well. This really blew my mind.
4. Naan (Indian bread): For all those Naan-​lovers, I will just write one line which will be self-​explicable. It just passed the «Three Finger» test.
5. Boondi-​Raita (Yogurt): I’m not big fan of it but what I had today was out of the league. It was just simple awesome. Its a must try
6. Basmati Rice — That pretty lady offered us complimentary rice and that was genuine basmati rice. We guys, in Germany, do eat rice twice a day and hate rice. Their rice was simply boiled but we liked it.
7. Papad — They offer you complimentary Papad with Mint Chuttney (Sauce), Tamarind Chuttney and Mixed pickle.
8. «Some Mango Dish» — If I don’t highlight this then it will be an injustice for that lady. She came to know that its a bday celebration. So she asked the chef to cook some sweet-​dish for us. She presented it to us when we were asking the cheque on counter. When we just put that into our mouth we totally lost into it. It was made of Mango, some other ingredients (which I don’t know) and ice-​cream. I never had that dish in India. I don’t even know the name. But, I would like to call it «Sweet-​dish of Gods».
One compliment that I gave to her:
If you’ll give us 50% discount then we can eat it till the dawn and then start after an hour.
It’s quite far from Darmstadt, but next time we’ll decide for having lunch/​dinner outside, our choice would be surely «Style of India».
«Price is also very reasonable, we just paid 50 euro for all these items».

A wonderful, relaxed, friendly restaurant. Entering one is warmly welcomed and seated, outside in the Summer if you choose. The meal was excellent, firstly papadums with sauces to get you in the mood, for starters I enjoyed crispy and juicy onion bahjees. My main course was a chicken mango curry with, of course, basmati rice.
A re-​visit is assured.

Klein aber fein!
Ich kenne das Lokalchen nun schon seit der Eröffnung, die Qualität ist so gut wie am ersten Tag, die Preise human. Sowohl als Take-​Away, als auch im Restaurant immer wieder gerne.
Die Karte zeigt für mich ein gutes Spektrum. Die Speisen sind frisch, das kann man am «Jalfrezi» sehen, da sind dann Gemüse so frisch wie beim Chinesen drin. Die Soßen der Curry-​Gerichte sind kräftig und haben eine dicke Konsistenz. Die Lamm-​Gerichte hatten bislang immer ein zartes Fleisch, das nicht nach Bockstall schmeckt.
Die Getränkekarte ist überschaubar, aber ok. Auch beim Wein ist für mich immer was dabei.
Die Familienmitglieder sind keine «Gastro-​Profis», aber stets bemüht, freundlich und verbreiten eine angenehme Atmosphäre, man kann sich also durchaus wohlfühlen.
Sowie es wärmer wird, wird die Terrasse wieder geöffnet. Man sitzt zwar nahe an der Straße, aber der Verkehr ist «In der Römerstadt» nicht so dolle und man ist durch Elemente davon getrennt. Irgendwie hat’s südländisches Flair, da sitzt man oft auch an der Straße.
Die Toiletten sind außerhalb des Lokals, leider baulich bedingt. Im Winter wenig beheizt, wird man sich da nicht lange aufhalten, aber es ist alles sauber!
Übrigens will Herr Singh versuchen, am Sonntag ab Mittag durchgehend zu öffnen, das käme uns als «Spätesser» sehr entgegen. Hoffentlich klappt’s.

Wir bestellen nun zum 3. Mal und haben schon viel der Speisekarte ausprobiert. Die Gerichte sind wirklich lecker und fein abgestimmt. Die Preise völlig okay. Dazu hatten wir in unseren Gerichten einen guten Fleischanteil. Bestellen immer wieder gerne. Im Restaurant waren wir noch nicht und können nix darüber sagen. Lieferzeiten variieren von 45 – 60 min. Und sollten eingeplant werden.

Wir haben das erste Mal zum Liefern bestellt und waren wirklich angetan. Sehr lecker! Daher bestellen wir seitdem regelmäßig *grins* und waren jetzt auch einmal vor Ort. Noch besser natürlich! Empfehlung!!!

Nachdem der Flyer dieses Restaurants mit angeschlossenem Lieferservice kürzlich bei uns im Briefkasten lag, haben wir nun erstmalig eine Bestellung aufgegeben und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Frische Zutaten, die sehr lecker zubereitet daherkamen und recht zivile Preise sprechen für sich.
Neben dem sehr leckeren «Butter Chicken» (smarte € 8,90) und einem erstklassigen «Chicken Sabji» überzeugten auch die bestellten Vorspeisen wie Samosas (dazu gab es eine hervorragende Minzsoße) und «Mix Rajta».
Alles in allem war es ein Genuss, den wir jetzt öfter wiederholen werden.
