I just have to love this place.
It is next door, so it is SUPER convenient, BUT they also make really good Italian food.
We have been here more than a dozen times by now.
We are taking colleagues from the US and India here and all of them love it.
The décor is a bit rustic, borderline outdated — yes. But the service and the food make more than up for it. Everybody is just super nice and they really make an effort with our English-​speaking colleagues as well. The owner brought some English menus for them once they realised that they don’t speak German and the service is always very friendly and patient.
I have tried their apps, different kind of pizzas, a couple of salads as well as wine offerings — everything is great.
I have yet to try something I don’t like.
There is a complimentary bread basket with butter and olives with your drinks.
We always get a choice of an apéritif after we have finished the meal — on the house.
Our son always gets a lolly with the bill.
We never had an issue with paying by credit card.
By now, my guys even like to order a take-​out pizza with mushrooms and ham to share once a week.
Big thumbs up for this place!

Great little Italian restaurant, friendly, polite and fast service, more than adequate menu choice of food and beverages. Cosy indoors and a large outdoor area for if the Summer ever arrives.
