The bakery backroom is having huge glass screens and you can see the baker-​men @ work.
Price level is ok for an international airport: pretzels ranging around 2.50 €, coffee is around 3 €

Look for the only eatery with a dense long line, and most likely it will be Heberer’s. I walked by several places looking for that one special place that had amazing pretzels, and the line confirmed this must be the happening spot. It’s a good thing that I knew exactly what I wanted as this establishment is a carb heaven that delights the senses, my noise and eyes were overwhelmed with options. I walked away with a butter pretzel, and one with cheese. They were delicious for an airport. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to Germany and my Europe summer holiday.

Beautiful breads, sandwiches and pastries located in the most perfect spot right before all the gates. I thoroughly enjoyed my tomato, mozzarella and basil sandwich along with a salted pretzel. This place gave me the exact pick me up I needed after my 7 ½ hour flight. Yum!

Traditional Bakery located in Terminal Z is excellent.
Freshly baked bread, pastry and freshly made sandwiches which beats any airline food on board! (I still have nightmare about my cold rock hard bagel!)
Service here is fast and efficient so don’t worry even if there seems to be a lineup.
I ended up picking up a pretzel before boarding my flight! In retrospective, I should have got one or 2 more to just hang it around my Unilocal friend’s neck so he won’t be hungry.

The wait staff is friendly and speak good english, but the coffee € 3.5 is kind of weak coffee
