Zio Felix

I love this place! Me and the other half ate here a couple of times during our recent trip. It’s a casual, walk-​in kind of place and is small with only 4 or 5 tables with bench seating inside, and one table outside. The menu mainly consists of pizzas, although there are some pasta dishes and antipasto on offer too.
On the first occasion, we’d worked up an appetite skating at Tempelhofer Feld on the Sunday morning and popped in for lunch. We both ordered pizzas and a focaccia with rocket to share. You can watch your pizza being freshly prepared and cooked. I had the vegetariana pizza which was really delicious — thin and crisp base, excellent sauce and cheese, and a perfect spread of thinly sliced toppings. The focaccia tasted great with the savoury rosemary and salt complemented by the sweet balsamic lightly drizzled on top of the rocket.
We also had a late dinner here one evening. The restaurant was full and there were also people waiting for takeaway. Luckily, one table was just finishing up so we were able to dine in again. There are a few pasta dishes on the menu, and I was a little hesitant at first, thinking that maybe the pasta wouldn’t live up to how good the pizza had been, but I was wrong! I had the pasta formaggio — perfectly cooked penne in a rich cheese sauce with a sprinkling of crushed walnuts on top, mmmm! It came served with 2 slices of focaccia which was the ideal accompaniment. OH had the same pizza he’d had the first time and was pleased as punch too. He did consider ordering the bresaola antipasto as well but it would have been too much as the pizza is enough on its own!
Drinks wise, there is a fridge of beer and soft drinks (Fritz-​Kola, Club Mate, etc.) to help yourself from and wine is also available — I had a nice glass of red with my pizza.
Great service too — the servers on both visits were lovely, and we always had everything we needed. Even more remarkable was that such a good meal was so inexpensive — for two of us, including drinks, the bill first time was € 27, and € 21 the second time. I wish this was my local pizzeria!

Tiny restaurant with amazing pizza and salads. You can tell the owner puts a lotta love into it. Relaxing ambiance, always packed. Would definitely recommend and return.

Hmm… ich muss leider sagen, dass ich eher enttäuscht als zufrieden aus diesem Laden raus bin. Das ist halt oft die Gefahr, wenn man zu viele sehr gute Bewertungen sieht…
Im Grunde ist das ein richtig niedliches Restaurant — schön eingerichtet und mit der Küche mittendrin. Das Restaurant empfiehlt sich eher nicht für große Gruppen.
Zum Service… So nett die Leute sind, sind sie für so einen kleinen Laden etwas langsam. Unsere Essensbestellung ging relativ schnell aber wir wollten die Getränkekarte nochmal überfliegen und dann war für ca. 20 Minuten niemand mehr zu sehen.
Als das Focaccia kam war ich schon wieder mehr positiv gestimmt, denn das sah nach Handarbeit aus und ich dachte mir, dass ich den Laden bis hierhin doch noch weiterempfehlen würde. Dann kam aber die Pasta… Ich habe ja ein Bild dazu geposted und irgendwie wirkt der Teller nicht. Er spricht mich einfach nicht an und wirkt etwas karg. Die Relation zwischen Pasta und Garnitur/​Soße passt nicht und schon ist der gute Eindruck der Focaccia verflogen. Das kann ich mir — denke ich — auch noch zu Hause kochen…

Inzwischen kein Geheimtipp mehr, sondern von einer wachsenden Kundschaft regelmäßig besucht, bietet Zio Felix weiterhin in dieser Gegend konkurrenzlose Pizza auf höchstem Niveau. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die nachvollziehbare Preisgestaltung: Pizzen mit wenig Zutaten kosten wenig (ab 6 € für eine Margherita), Pizzen mit mehr oder teureren Zutaten kosten mehr. Daran sieht man das ausgeprägte Qualitätsbewusstsein der Betreiber, das für die großartigen Resultate, riesige Pizzen, ausschlaggebend ist.
Das Lokal ist klein und eng, sehr unkompliziert und dem Produkt perfekt angepasst. Lange Abende wird man hier nicht verbringen, aber gerne beginnen. Und bald wiederkommen.

Great crust delicious sauce reasonable prices and cute atmosphere. Nice friendly people and open late.
I will be returning soon. My first meal in Berlin was awesome thanks ! Same pizza in Seattle would be twice the price and not as good.

Der Geheimtipp in der Nähe den Tempelhofer Flughafen. Man sollte reservieren, da die wenigen Tische gerne auch mal alle besetzt sind. Bei Zio Felix ist alles etwas einfacher dafür stimmt die Qualität. Die wenigen Weine die sie haben sind excellence. Die Zutaten auf die Pizzen hochwertig, eben eine richtige Pizzaria.

Sehr gute pizza! Dünner, knuspriger Boden, sehr gute Beläge, und auch bei viel Betrieb recht schnell. Der Preis ist happig, aber die Qualität rechtfertigt ihn.

Die Pizza ist lecker, der Salat auch, dass. Man bei einer carbonara allerdings dicke rohrnudeln anstatt Spaghetti bekommt finde ich doof.

Great pizza with equally great prices! We sat outdoors (it’s a bit small inside) and I had the Pera pizza that had gorgonzola, pears, parma, and rucola. I highly recommend this pizza, as well as the place!

Good local pizza place. I liked the pizzas and the prices are great. The guy making the pizzas is Italian and is very cool. I wouldn’t say it tastes like pizza in Italy. I think they definitely cater to German tastes. If you are in or around SchillerKiez stop by this place. When I was there, there were a lot of kids so it’s family friendly.

Die Pizza ist schön dünn und sehr lecker. Zum Aufpeppen gibt’s auch Chili– oder Knoblauchöl.

Great, affordable pizzas. Authentically Italian, diverse and delicious toppings. You can’t go wrong with either a simple, yet fantastic margharita nor with pizza with delicious toppings. You can eat inside, outside or call them for a takeaway pizza that will be ready for you to pick up within 10 – 15 minutes. Lovely service, too. Interesting magazines to look through, simple but good drink variety and the bathroom is clean. Yes, I’m a fan and a future regular :)!

Das Restaurant ist klein, aber schick und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Pizzen mit super dünnem Boden sind lecker, und auch die Knoblauch– und Chillieöle sollte man probieren. Allgemein ist alles nicht ganz billig.

Sehr leckere Pizza mit super dünnem Teig! Atmosphäre auch sehr schön. Die Preise finde ich ein klein wenig zu hoch dafür, dass es doch eher gehobene Imbissatmosphäre ist (Margherita 4,50 EUR ist noch ok, aber mit Belägen landet man schnell bei 7 EUR). Dafür kann man dann auch in ein richtiges Restaurant wie Masaniello oder Il Casolare gehen.
Am Wochenende gibt’s wohl auch Frühstück, hab ich aber noch nicht ausprobiert. Der Espresso dort schmeckt aber leider ziemlich miserabel.

Durchnittliche Pizza zum fairen Preis.

Super, kleiner Italiener im Schillerkiez! Die Pizza ist ein Traum mit ganz dünnem Boden. Es gibt leckeres Peroni und das Weinangebot ist auch gut. Nächstes Mal probiere ich die Pasta, denn diese sah auch sehr gut aus. Service sehr freundlich und lustig. Weiter so! 5 Sterne!

Seit zwei Wochen im Kiez authentische, sympathische und bodenständige kleine Pizzeria.
Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, schnörkelloses Menü, das neben knusprigdünne Pizzen verfeinerbar durch leckere Würzöle, auch Pasta und Salate enthält. Getränkeauswahl überschaubar, dafür aber hip, Wein solide.
Pizzabäcker und Servicekraft sind wirklich bei den Gästen und erfüllen den Wunsch nach der Nutella-​Pizza.
