Wir waren am 21.12.2015 zu zweit in der «TRANSIT Zone».
Lecker asiatisches, bei Bedarf auch vegetarisches Essen in kleinen Schälchen, von nettem Personal serviert. Alles sauber und frisch zubereitet.
Unserer Meinung nach ein super Preis — Leistungs — Verhältnis.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wenn möglich sollte man reservieren, weil es hier immer recht voll ist.

War mit meiner besten Freundin im Transit. Der Raum, alles in Rot und dann die dekorative Deko mit den Vogelkäfigen von der Decke ist schon ein Blickfang. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Man sucht sich die Speisen aus der Speisekarte raus und macht ein Häkchen für die gewünschten Speisen auf einem Zettel. Die Speisen sind klein, kosten aber nur um die 3 €. Wir hatten um die fünf verschiedene Speisen, mein Liebling war der leckere Fisch mit Apfelsalat, richtig erfrischend. Zum Nachtisch hatten wir einen kleinen Karamell-​Bananenkuchen, doch leider schmeckte man gar keine Bananen raus. Es war mehr ein Schokokuchen. Wir hatten auch Sago (Tapiokaperlen, die man im Bubbletea findet) in Kokosnussmilch. Das war mir zu süß, ich kennen das auch mit erfrischenden Honigmelonenstücken drin, das fände ich besser. Trotzdem war alles lecker und wir kommen wieder!

Eines Tages ging ich mit meiner besten Freundin hierher essen… wir hatten Streit deshalb schonmal ein Punkt abzug… wir tranken kola, was ich standardmäßig eigentlich tue. Die kola kommt prunkvoll mit strohhalm in einer handelsüblichen 0.2l flasche… nun zum essen: auch wenn man Streit hat, muss man vernünftig essen, dies wurde in einer hitzigen Konversation zuerstmal festgestellt. Man bestellt über eine strichliste… leider War nur Bleistift da, dies führte natürlich zu mehr Streit und alle um uns herum haben sich weggesetzt… es kamen 6 schalen a 3 Euro pro Portion… zu zweit wird man satt, wenn man sich nicht mit dem essen bewirft… fies: garnele mit wasabi Mayo dem gegenüber ins Auge zu werfen…2 Tage Schwellung… zusatz: auf hellen stoffhosen sieht man bbq Sauce sehr gut… nach 2 stunden waren wir dann fertig… wir haben es dem essen zu verdanken, dass wir wieder Freunde sind… da keine sitzpolster vorhanden sind, sitzt man nicht so bequem. Really really yummy Asian tapas! The small bowls cost 3 € and the big (BIG!) ones 7 €.
Food is served fast and staff is friendly and speak English.
THe place itself is quite noisy, but the damp light and dark interior makes it really cozy.
Usually a lot of ppl, so making a reservation is not a bad idea.

This place is very interesting and different and I loved it here. The service is good and you get a piece of paper where you fill out what you want to order. The dessert was great and each one of the bowls we had was delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, der Eistee ist ein Traum. Angenehme Atmosphäre, ausser dass man, wenn es richtig voll wird, eng an eng auf harten Bänken sitzt. In der Sonntagstr. gelegen findet man das Restaurant sehr gut wieder, eng an eng mit anderen flippigen Bars und Restaurants. Nette Bedienungen, relativ günstig. Ich komme bald mal wieder :)

Furchtbares Personal. Als wir ankamen waren mind. 10 Tische leer. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, den das Personal nicht auf ihrer Liste finden konnten. Anstatt davon auszugehen, dass ihnene einen Fehler unterlaufen ist, wurde darüber diskutiert, dass wir gar nicht reserviert hätten oder in der falschen Filiale angerufen hätten. Das Personal forderte uns auf, unsere Handyverbindungen einzusehen, damit wir beweisen könnten, dass wir reserviert hatten. So ein unprofessionelles und dreistes Verhalten haben wir noch nie in einem Restaurant erlebt.

Super leckeres abwechslungsreiches asiatisches Essen in schöner Atmosphäre! Ich wollte mal was anderes ausprobieren, als diese Standardrestaurants wie Steakhouse oder Inder oder so und bin dann durch eine Freundin auf Transit aufmerksam geworden!!! Und war sofort begeistert !!! Ist mal ein anderes Essen, da es nicht gewohnt, sondern als eine Art «Tapas «in kleinen Schälchen serviert wird (pro Schale 3 €). On a recent trip to Germany (so recent I’m still feeling the jet lag), Transit was one of my favorite dining experiences in Berlin. The ambiance was welcoming but eclectic with the ceiling covered with hanging colorful bird cages, and the way the restaurant is set up, with one long row of tables against the wall, felt pretty authentic. We were also super pleased with the prices, with most tapas, apart from the 8 euro «specialty plates,» were only 3 euro a piece. In the states, each plate would easily run 10 — 12 bucks, so it seemed like a bargain dining here. They place was really busy on a Saturday night, but the two of us were seated in 15 minutes, so it really wasn’t bad. If you have a big party though, definitely make some ressies.
The menu (which came with english subtitles) was pretty diverse and had a little bit of everything for everyone on it. For the two of us, we ordered: crunchy veggie dumplings, coconut curry chicken, calamari, crunchy chicken spring rolls, rice bun dough wrapped chicken/​veggies, what looked like duck tequitos, rice noodles with chicken and veggies, and a side of rice. Now these dishes were called sometime completely different that what I just named them off as FYI.
The crunchy veggie dumplings were served in a portion of 3 with some avocado dipping sauce which was essentially asian inspired guac, and they were friggen delicious. The shell was crunchy and the filling was flavorful and fresh… and the asian guac was one of my favorite parts of any of the dishes. The coconut curry chicken was just okay, probably the least favorite of what we ordered, mostly because the cuts of chicken used were less than desirable and there was alot of dark and fatty meat used. The calamari was delish, and for me to say that is huge since I don’t exactly partake in seafood often, but this stuff had some amazing flavor on it and was super crunchy and not chewy at all. They also use little whole squids, so it’s not all the fried rings like I’m used to. The crunchy chicken springrolls were served as 3, and I liked them personally, but boyf thought they were only just okay. They were crunchy and not oily and the inside had small chunks of chicken and minced veggies — just as you’d expect. I did not try the duck but was told it was fantastic. The chicken and rice noodles was the most mainstream dish we ordered and while tasty, was nothing special or anything set apart from dishes I can order at any Thai restaurant. The rice bun dough wrapped chicken/​veggies was one of my favorite things we ordered and unlike anything I’ve had. I was expecting a bun, but it was like a noodle wrap, almost the consistency of a wonton, encompassing a delicious collective of minced chicken and veggies. I did not dislike one thing we ordered, and thought everything was really well done and delicious.
For dessert, we attempted to take advantage of the Unilocal check-​in offer of 1 euro off the pana cotta, but they were out so we got some kind of green tapioca. It was alright, not something I would probably pick out myself, but enjoyable for a few bites.
Totally recommend trying Transit out!

Dickes Lob an die Köche und die einfallsreichen kulinarischen Kreationen! Durchweg Köstliches und geschmackliche Neuentdeckungen! Aber der Service ist so grottenschlecht, dass man auch eine Selbstbedienungslokalität aus dem Transit machen könnte (wäre toll, dann kann man sich mit Küche austauschen). Ruppig und übelgelaunte Servicekraft (Jenseits von Service und Kraft!)

ein kleines aber sehr gemütliches thai style restaurant mittem im ostkreuz kiez. speisen werden in € 3 bowls serviert, etwa 20 zur auswahl. normal grosse speisen auch a la carte verfügbar jedoch baut das testsurant mehr auf dem € 3 per bowl konzept. für jeden geschmack ist etwas dabei, von green papaya salad, gado gado, chicken curry bis zum chicken satee. beilagen wie reis u nudeln für € 1 sind extra zu bestellen.

I love the concept of this restaurant and being able to try so many different things. It’s tasty but it all feels a little like its missing something. So many options maybe means a bit of loss of quality.
Service is ok.

Der Besuch bei transit ist ein Erlebnis. Sicherlich bietet die Karte für nicht-​Vegetarier besonderere Leckereien. Trotzdem kann man auch als Vegetarier hier mal ganz neue Geschmäcker erleben.
Richtig gemütlich ist es in dem Restaurant zwar nicht, aber für das Essen lohnt es sich vorbeizuschauen

Ich bin dort ca. 5x gewesen und auch im transit in Berlin-​Mitte, deshalb kann ich sagen: die Qualität ist gleich geblieben über die letzten 3 Jahre.
Einzig am Reis gibt es was zu kritisieren: dieser ist oft zu trocken und schmeckt alt. Das trübt ein wenig den Gesamtgeschmack der anderen tollen Tapas-​Gerichte.
NACHTRAG: war heute dort, die haben den Reis verbessert, und zwar war er dieses Mal frisch und feuchter. Deshalb 5 Sterne, weil anscheinend reagiert wurde bzw. der Betreiber es selbst bemerkt und verbessert hat! Wo gibt es das schon?!
Aber die Saté-​Spieße dort (3 für 3 EUR) sind der Hammer, ich finde: die besten der Stadt!

Ich war heute das erste Mal mit einem Freund hier, das Essen war genial, 3 Kleine Schalen nach Wahl dazu wahlweise Reis oder Nudeln. 3 € pro Schale ist Top. Das Essen war kulinarisch super, alle satt geworden, eine klare Empfehlung, Ich komme wieder

Das Essen ist ok. Die Karte könnte öfters wechseln, und vor allem könnten die Service-​Kräfte freundlicher sein. Besser gesagt, überhaupt freundlich sein. Eine gastliche Athmosphäre vermitteln sie überhaupt nicht, auch nicht, wenn man schon oft Gast war. Ich gehe meistens nur hin, wenn es ziemlich leer ist, und auch da sind sie sehr kühl und kurz angebunden.

Un bar à tapas asiatique? Oui, c’est possible.
C’est un grand restaurant, avec des petites tables et des encore plus petits tabourets, une décoration un peu kitsch mais épurée, une ambiance tamisée et une musique discrète.
Sur la table, un bloc note et la carte avec les codes des plats. Il suffit de reporter sur le bloc les codes des plats que vous souhaitez goûter et la quantité, une serveuse passé récupérer le papier ainsi que prendre la commande des boissons. On avouera le côté pratique de la chose: quand on est étranger ça nous évite de trop galérer dans la langue, même si on est un local, les noms des plats sont quand même imprononçables par des européens.
Les plats sont très différents les uns des autres ce qui permet de plaire à tout le monde et surtout de goûter plein de choses différentes.
La qualité des plats n’est pas incroyable mais c’est correct, les prix quant à eux sont raisonnables (3 € en moyenne par plat), ce qui fait de ce lieu une adresse sympa pour toutes les tailles d’appétit et toutes les envies.
Je n’en garde pas un souvenir mémorable mais c’est une adresse honorable.

update. immernoch geteilte bewertung. getränke sind entweder standard oder enttäuschend und dafür echt zu teuer. mit dem essen dagegen kann man wirklich zufrieden sein. der service ist mal so (+) und mal sooooo (-). tipp: nicht dort essen sondern take away

Dieses Lokal ist für diejenigen, die sich nur schwer entscheiden können und die Abwechslung lieben!
Im Transit gibt es eine riesige Auswahl an kleinen Gerichten, eine Art asiatisch angehauchte Tapas. Aber nicht nur. Hier findet man verschiedene Spieße, Salate, Kartoffeln in allen Variationen und tollen Saucen. Zum Nachtisch gibts Kuchen aus der Vitrine.
Anfangs muss man sich durch die Karte durcharbeiten und durchprobieren, bis man seine Favoriten hat. Die Portionen kosten im Schnitt um die 3 – 4 Euro. So tut es nicht so weh, wenn man mal das Falsche bestellt. Satt wird man in jedem Fall.
An Wochenenden ist es schwer ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen, denn das Lokal ist beliebt! Da es idr recht voll ist, ist auch der Geräuschpegel entsprechend hoch.
Das Ambiente ist modern, der Service gut, die Wartezeiten recht kurz, auch wenn es mal wieder voll ist.

Unfassbar unfreundliches und beinahe schon unverschämtes Verhalten des Personals! Die Tische waren alle schmutzig und klebten. Die Toilette war komplett runtergekommen und versüfft.
Preislich ziemlich teuer! 6e für einen kleinen Wein?!
Wie können dieses Restaurant wirklich nicht weiterempfehlen! Werden dort nicht mehr hingehen.

It“s Asian Tapas!!! Not everything is great, but some are, and its all good. I have brought many people here, and we have never been disappointed.

Amazing asian fusion tapas! Will definitely come again. The service was very friendly too.

Curieux croisement entre resto vietnamien et bar à tapas: on commande diverses spécialités par petits bols qui coûtent à peu près tous 3 euros. Moi qui aime tester plusieurs plats quand je vais au resto, au lieu de me remplir le ventre avec un seul, j’adore !
La commande est également très simple avec un formulaire placé sur chaque table, qu’on remplit suivant son choix de bols. Né pas oublier un (au moins) petit bol de riz en plus par personne.
Et ce qui arrive sur la table (rapidement) est excellent ! Notamment les petites brochettes de poisson frit, ou encore le poulet à la sauce coco.
Je né donne pourtant pas 5 étoiles, car le service n’est pas terrible: ramollo, pas très souriant, pas très aimable, bien que certaines serveuses soient plus agréables que d’autres. Mais ça né m’empêchera pas d’y retourner et de goûter d’autres spécialités !
Agréable terrasse à la belle saison, donnant sur la rue juste assez animée un beau dimanche soir d’été. Comptez environ 10 € par personne (2 bols, 1 riz, 1 boisson).

Leckere asiatische Tapas, mit einer guten Auswahl, so dass sicherlich jeder etwas findet.
Empfehlen kann man vor allem die 18, Harvest Gold.

Friend ordered noodle. soup (phở) .it was real bad… brooth is very important for this dish but seems. tjeybdidmt have to enough time to prepare. Booth is like water+salt.
But rice dish was good.

So sehr ich den Hype um das Konzept der «Asia Tapas» verstehen kann («Probier von allem, irgendwas wird schon schmecken») — wieder essen würde ich dort nicht.
Wir waren zu dritt und haben querbeet neun 3 € Schalen bestellt, von denen ich lediglich die Nummer 12 (gegrillte Rinderhüfte, Chili, Limette und frische Kräuter) weiterempfehlen kann. Der Fisch war verkocht (Nr. 16), die krossen Schweinerippchen nicht kross (Nr. 14), der Reis ein riesiger eingetrockneter Fließbandklumpen, der Pfannkuchen mit Entenfüllung fad und trocken (Nr. 6). Die Rollen (Nr. 1 und 2) und die Sate-​Spieße (Nr. 9) waren akzeptabel aber nicht «wiederholungswürdig».
Alles in allem gilt hier der Kampfruf «Hauptsache sexy». Geschmack — das weiß man im Nachhinein — ist nebensächlich. Der Schuppen kommt sehr stylish daher, ist pickepackevoll und so gibt auch die Neugier nach. Mit einem Getränk pro Kopf landeten wir schließlich bei 15 € pro Kopf — bei guter Qualität wäre das gerechtfertigt gewesen.
Für mich ist es ein «Nein».

In dieser Filiale von Transit war ich schon öfter. Zugegeben in letzter Zeit selten. Bei meinem heutigen Besuch kam ich mir vor, wie in der DDR im Mitropa-​Restaurant, wenn die Kellner gerade keine Lust hatten.
Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants ging es los. Die mir am besten gefallenden Plätze sind die an der Wand. Dort wo die bequemen Bänke sind und die Tische hoch genug, dass man beim Essen nicht andauernd durch ständiges herunterbeugen unfreiwillig Bauchmuskeltraining betreibt.
Meine Rechnung machte ich aber ohne die diensthabende Kellnerin. Den Begriff «diensthabende» habe ich bewusst gewählt, hat nur die Armbinde mit der Aufschrift KvD (Kellnerin von Dienst) gefehlt. Zumindest war der Ton, den Sie am Leibe hatte, um mir mitzuteilen, dass ich es ja nicht wagen sollte mich dort hinzusetzen, da alles reserviert sei, eben der «Herr im Haus Ton» der Kellner aus DDR-​Zeiten. Da zuckt man und knallt die Hacken zusammen.
Aber ich dachte mir, dass das eventuell ein Sprachproblem sei, da sich ja auch manche asiatische Sprache für meine Ohren wie ein ständiges Kommando-​Geschimpfe anhört. Nie werde ich vergessen, wie ich einst eine 10-​minütige offizielle koreanische Ansprache gehört habe und dabei immer kleiner wurde, da der Ton so war, wie er ist, wenn man in europäischen Sprachen sehr deutlich seinen Unmut ausdückt. Dabei war ich mir keiner Schuld bewusst. Die Übersetzung ergab dann allerdings, dass ich gerade in höchsten Tönen gelobt und allerherzlichst zu einem Besuch Koreas eingeladen wurde. Soviel zu den Unterschieden von Mimik, Gestik und Intonation sowie den Fallen bei internationalen Kontakten.
Nachdem ich dann im Transit endlich dort saß, wo ich durfte, studierte ich die Karte. Irgendwie war da früher das Angebot breiter und fantasiereicher. Vor allem gab es kleine Suppen und Gerichte, die man nicht überall findet. Darum bestellte ich dann ein Tagesangebot und komponierte mein Mittag nicht, wie eigentlich vorgehabt, aus verschiedenen kleine Einzelgerichten.
Der panierte Haiwels war auch recht akzeptabel. Nicht eben begeisternd, etwas zuviel Panade, dennoch den Hunger besänftigend. Aber bei der Bestellung wurde ich nochmal zurechtgewiesen. Hatte meine Striche auf dem Bestellblatt nicht korrekt gemacht, nämlich übersehen, dass die Striche nicht hinter den jeweiligen Namen, sondern davor zu machen sind. Da die Kellnerin aber perfekt deutsch sprach, war damit auch klar, dass das Sprachproblem als Entschuldigungsargument für Unfreundlichkeit ungültig geworden war. Sie war wirklich unfreundlich.
Bemerkenswert war auch, dass der Papaya-​Salat aussah und auch so schmeckte, wie Weißkohlsalat mit Möhrenstreifen. Und da ich ja mit Papayas sozusagen groß geworden bin, wagte ich die Frage, wo denn da die Papaya sein soll. Antwort: Wenn der Koch sagt, dass das Papaya ist, dann ist das Papaya!
Aye, aye, Sir! Kann man da nur denken.
Selbst wenn es in Asien Papayas geben sollte, die wie Weißkohl aussehen und schmecken, man kann das doch dem dummen Europäer freundlich erklären, dachte ich mir und freute mich schon auf das Ende des Martyriums im Transit.
Im Nachhinein bedacht, ist das doch eine tolle Antwort. Man bräuchte im Raumschiff Enterprise keinen Nahrungsreplikator mehr. Nur einen Koch der sagt, was das, was man gerade isst, denn sein soll.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn.
Im Friedrichshain kann man so oft so gut essen. Es muss nicht das Transit sein. Erfolg kann eben zu Kopf steigen. Schade eigentlich. Das Konzept ist schließlich gut. Nur die Kunden stören eben.
Ach ja, als ich dann ging waren die reservierten Tische noch immer unbesetzt.

Really nice concept, a bit like Asian tapas. You can choose different little things from the menu which are served all at the same time. I liked ‘my favorite duck’ a lot! Also nice are the green curry, the yellow curry and the papaya salad. Good food and not expensive!

Pros:
Food: pretty good for Berlin, with a bit more flavour than the average asian shop. Nice to have a place that focuses on a specific cuisine unlike a lot of the other asian shops that do sushi/​indonesian/​vietnamese/​chinese with burgers.
Décor: Red, lots of red, and asian bird-​cages (thankfully minus the birds). But I found it hard to read the menu with the lighting, the red on white printing is not suited for a dark room.
Cons:
It was bloody loud in there tonight, they could have turned the sound down a bit.

Das beste asiatische Restaurant in Berlin! Transit F-​hain hat tolles Essen und ein wunderbares Design. Ich gehe dort mindestens jede zweite Woche. der Ort ist einzigartig im Bezirk.

This place is awesome. I was in Berlin with a couple friends for the weekend and found this place here on Unilocal.We showed up around 8:00 on a Saturday night to find the place packed (always a good sign). Then the hostess told us it would be about a two hour wait to get a table, but after some sweet talking, «squeezed» us into a great table near the kitchen.
The menu is simple, pretty much tapas style, only Thai. Each of us got 2 dishes (about 3 euro a piece) and a dish of rice, which was plenty. I highly recommend the curry dishes, they were amazing. The atmosphere combined with the great prices and delicious food make this a winner in my book. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in Berlin!

Last time I was in Berlin I was not so impressed with the Asian food. Seattle boasts some high quality product and this German/​pan Asian fare was not cutting it. Considering we only went to the cheapest of the cheap– it is entirely possible we were just eating in the wrong places.
Because this time we found a great place. We were intrigued by the über-​styled décor of red, black, and birdcages. Those cages are works of art! A bench lines one side and I graciously let my beau take the prime seat but was surprised by the comfort of the red chairs paired with these tables. Comfy goodness.
We ordered several small bowls for 3 euros and a side of rice (large bowls/​soups available for 7 euro). We eat just about every meat– duck, chicken, catfish, & beef. (I try– but my man is a meat eater through & through). Also ordered a small beer (3 euro) & something called Asian Ice coffee. It says coffee– I’ll try anything. Sweet Succotash what a drink! I figured out the work I didn’t know was «condensed milk» which coated the bottom of the glass is sticky sweet. A little stir and I was in heaven. That is delicious. Also had a mango milkshake that looked like it would make an excellent compliment.
Food was ordered & out like snap which can make me suspicious of the heat/​flavor of the meal, but speed was just a bonus here. Everything Was Delicious. Really good. And the few spicy dishes were clearly marked (making them an obvious first choice for us) and were actually spicy! Gasp. Not like burn-​your-​mouth, but adding perfect heat.
All of this we had for 19 euros before tip. Add this place to the go-​to.

Transit is Asian food revisited.
It looks very cool to begin with. It’s big, and has 2 parts: one more Asian looking part with round tables and one part with an enormous amount of birdcages hanging from the ceiling.
To order you have to fill out an order form and give it to the waiter. Order some little dishes with cute names (for 3 euro) per dish or a big dish for 7 euro. If you want to sit for You can also order in 2 or 3 parts… add rice or noodles for 1 euro.
3 small dishes are plenty for one person! For small eaters 2 will even do… so I don’t think it’s expensive.
The food varies from just good to very good. Service is sweet and fast.
I liked the atmosphere, the mixed crowd (from F-​hain alternatives to London hipsters) and will definitely go here again. What I like is that, unlike most Asian places in this neighborhood who just focus on feeding you, you can have a nice, and even long dinner here with friends.

Transit is a modern, brightly-​coloured and very welcoming restaurant. The staff is authentically Thai and Indonesian and they know their way around the menu. Maybe you think you know Asian food and you’ve had enough of rice, currys, meats, fish and sauces? Transit is a new upgrade of the Asian kitchen. They don’t do boring Asian food, but they do Thai tapas, as I like to call them.

the best Thai food in town, not too expensive. I eat there every week, staff is very nice and quick. GO THERE

i’m not sure about this place. went with a friend and we split 4 dishes. 1 was excellent (shark catfish in red curry), 2 were average (grilled & minced pork wrapped in lalot leaves, and some kind of tofu satay) and 1 was bad (vegetables of the season).
the pork dish was the most dissapointing because it was actually just 2 TINY mincemeat rolls wrapped in the leaves along with a few plain grilled pork strips which sat to the side. one of the mincemeat rolls had a bone that i nearly cracked a tooth on and had to spit out.
i like the concept of this place, so i plan to give it another try and try some of the other dishes. but for now i’m struggling to give it 3-​stars.

We LOVE Transit!!! One of our favorite restaurants in the area! The food is always spectacular, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing. A mix of asian fusion served tapas style with smaller portions. 3EUR per dish and 1EUR for rice or rice noodles. cocktails are to die for! always strong and beautifully decorated with fresh fruits and orchids. my favorite dishes include the crispy shark catfish in spicy red curry, grilled pork in lallot leaves, spicy lime-​marinated steak and the grilled duck. most dishes can be substituted with tofu as well! hungry yet? get there soon

A restaurant with a simple, effective concept. You get a menu with 18 base dishes, and an extra little menu of the day with another 8 – 10 dishes. Every dish costs 3 Euro, except for the rice/​noodles which costs only 1 Euro. Then you mark with a pencil what you like, and that’s it!
The wonderful dishes appear after a little wait and you wonder how they can make any money as the portions are as big as the mains in many London Thai restaurants. Try the Pandan Chicken — it’s just fabulous! And everything else is also pretty good, tasty and, more importantly, fun! The dishes arrive in a variety of interesting bowls and plates and dining here was a real delight. It’s very easy to over-​order but don’t worry about it as it is just so cheap.
The décor was interestingly red, as in very red, with lots of Asian bird cages on the ceiling. It is a great little restaurant to dine and chat with friends, and everyone is pretty much guaranteed to have a great time.
So, I can only highly recommend that you try this place as soon as possible before it closes down as I cannot see how they can make any money from the prices that they are charging.

Look, this is an amazing restaurant for many reasons.
1. You combine the concept of tapas /​small amazing delectable dishes with the idea of not choosing just one. Which by the way, they are all 3 euros.
2. An amazing Mango lassi or equivalent
3. Great service and amazing ambiance.
4. A place to come by yourself, as a couple or a large group. .
5. No MSG!
And you have Transit. This is a great restaurant, I have sneaking suspicions they are Thai, that’s because of the taste of the food and the fact that I can understand what they are saying in Thai.
I would say the only drawback would be: 1. You hate thai /​asian food. 2. You want a ridiculously large plate to yourself without the experience of eating other flavors. 3. You don’t like the color red at all. 4. F’Schain repulses you. 5. The menu is a little confusing with check boxes.
However, just go. 3 euros per small dish and you can get two per person or maybe 3 for a couple. Get some rice or noodles to add some carbs and there you go. . a well-​cooked and very delicious meal. I know my husband loves all the meat options. . I go for the opposite of course and some occasionaly fish or shark.

El menú está en alemán e inglés y simplemente se marca con una equis el plato que se desea. Entre dos o tres platos más un plato de arroz es suficiente para llenarse.
