Leute, merkt Ihr nicht, dass solche anonym geführten Kommerz-​Großraum-​Inder die Szene eines Stadtteils kaputtmachen? Damit ist jede Kultur vorbei, das Essen ist Massenware, das Design charakterlos. Wenn ein solcher Laden kommt, geht alles kaputt. Die Oranienburger und die Kastanienallee sind genau auf diese Art gestorben. Jetzt kann man Neukölln vergessen, das muss jedem bewusst sein.

Super Inder/​Pakistaner in Kreuzkölln, trotz Groupon Gutschein an einem Samstagabend nett Empfangen. freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, leckeres Essen und schmackhafte Drinks. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit draußen (in der Weserstraße) zu sitzen. Qualitativ ist das Restaurant dem Sadhu I ebenbürtig.

Die Karte besteht aus den üblichen Standards wie bei den meisten indischen und/​oder pakistanischen Restaurants (Vindaloo, Jhalfreezi, etc.) und ist nicht aussergewöhnlich, aber solide und lecker.

Really enjoyed the food and people at Sadhu 2 when we visited. I’m usually quite let down by the curry houses outside the UK (and the ones inside sometimes too) but in both taste, spice and atmosphere I was pleasantly surprised.
Food:
We had two lamb dishes from the main menu which were both brilliantly cooked. Spicy with tender meet and a runny sauce. The paneer pakora was sublime, as was the butter bread we ordered.
The lunch menu looks fantastic too, it’s dirt cheap, even by Berlin standards.
The décor:
A little bare bones perhaps but unremarkable is the worst you could say about it.
The staff:
All the staff were great, very friendly and warm. After our dinner, when we asked for the cheque, it came with a couple of nightcaps which were very much appreciated and a nice touch.
Somewhere else I think this would be a 4 star experience (the food isn’t setting the world ablaze exactly) but it’s good and in Berlin, so if you’re a curry fan you should try it.

I’m not German, and I’m not impressed with the way the spicy flavour of Asian & Mexican food is dulled down for German palettes. Fortunately, the good folks at Sadhu2 concur, and do not sacrifice their cultural integrity for the sake of local popularity.
Furthermore, the hospitality at Sadhu is excellent! Even though Pakistan is not legendary for tolerance & acceptance, everyone is welcome here, with open arms, delicious dishes, cheap cocktails, and the (hooray) bloody convenient 21st century payment options, unlike 90% of what I experience in Berlin!
This review goes out to the nay-​sayers. Sadhu2 rocks, and it makes short work of many competitors, making them seem like watered-​down bastardisations. That is all.

It was a bit disapponting to be honest. I saw the «People love us on Unilocal”-Sticker on the outside and so went in for lunch. The lunch specials are the cheapest way to go and the soup youre getting with it was really good. But neither my friend nor I liked our food very much. Its wasnt bad but wasn’t good either. There are so many indian places around Warthestr. that I rather go to.

Wir haben eigentlich einen anderen Inder in der Pannierstr gesucht und sind eher zufällig hier gelandet, da Unilocal den laden gar nicht angezeigt hat (warum denn nicht…).
Das Kriterium hinein zu gehen war die 128… cheese naan… :), da meine Freundin das einmal in singapur gegessen hat und bisher keinen inder gefunden hat der das anbietet.
Also rein… sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen.l worden … bestellt… ein üppiges und leckeres mahl erhalten … satt und zufrieden wieder raus.
ein stern abzug, weil das cheese naan nicht das gesuchte war (aber trotzdem lecker)

If Unilocal had half stars, I would give them 3 ½. It was good but not great. Cheap and lots of food. Good service and ok décor. If you got a hankering for Indian and only have 10 euro in yer pocket, it might be worth a shot.

Came in for lunch, these guys were very friendly and quick with their service. The food was great and being from out of town, it was a nice place to stumble upon. Highly recommended!

Have been there several times and was always very satisfied. Service is friendly, food is tasty and the portions have a good size. They also have a cocktail happy hour. Cocktails are ok for the price but not spectacular, but it is a restaurant and not a bar so that’s ok. My personal favorites: the garlic naan, palak panier and the biryani. Also the mango lassi is quite good.

Wir waren begeistert
3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder
Wir hatten erstmal 2 Yogi Tee, Ingwer Zitronen Tee und die Kinder Schorle und Kiba. Dazu aufs Haus Papadam (Brot) und 3 Soucen.
Sehr schneller zuvorkommender Service und sehr nett. Dafür schon mal 2 Sterne
Dann das Essen palak Paneer (Spinat mit Rahmkäse) Chicken Mango
(Hähnchen mit Mango-​Sahne Souce), Linsensuppe (nur superlecker)
Lamm Sabzi (Lamm mit Gemüse) und Briyani Mix (gebratener Reis mit Gemüse, Lammfleisch und Hähnchen) dazu noch Reis, Chapati Brot und Salat.
Wirklich große Portionen (wir sind sicherlich keine wenigesser) und
wirklich gut (was für diese Preisklasse so nicht erwartet wurde!)
dafür nochmal 2 Sterne und den 5. Stern dafür das es dort einfach sehr gemütlich war.
Und zum Abschied noch einen Mangolikör aufs Haus :)).
