We had the curry chicken, spicy chicken vindaloo, and the garlic naan. Everything was great– our kind server asked if I wanted the vindaloo spicy and I said yes– and boy was it! My husband only dipped his naan into the vindaloo on occasion since it was so spicy, but I thought it was great. Prices are good and food is good too. We are staying very close to this restaurant this weekend and we will probably go back for another meal.

OK, I am officially sold on this place. Or rather, I am sold on one dish in particular: the chloe batura.
Seriously, for a chickpea fiend like me, this is perfect. They’re served in a warm tomato-​based sauce that is delicious and slightly sweet, but still savory. The hotter it is, the better it seems to taste.
This is accompanied by a side of batura bread, which is not only excellent on its own, but comes in handy when licking the plate clean, so-​to-​speak. Now that I’ve found something here that I simply CRAVE, I doubt that I will ever order any other dish again…

Essen ok, (wenn auch fast kein Panir im dafür zu teuren Panir Jaipur), Service schlecht: lange Lieferzeit, fehlerhafte Lieferungen, die dann nur für die nächste Bestellung gutgeschrieben werden und unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. nicht empfehlenswert!

Our meals were very tasty, definitely not bland. Service was good: quick, with a smile, and we were asked if we needed anything instead of us having to get the waiter’s attention to ask for something. Lots of outdoor seating in a quiet area of Kreuzberg, and they played the women’s world cup matches, a rare occurrence in that area this summer. Will be back!

Als wir vor einigen Jahren gegenüber des Indisches Restaurants Shah Jahan einzogen, sagte der Nachbar aus dem Erdgeschoss, dies sei der schlechteste Inder Berlins und wir sollten dort trotz verführerischer Nähe bloß nicht essen gehen.
Komisch! Denn mir hat es dort immer ganz gut geschmeckt.
Es ist zwar nicht die Schönheit eines Restaurants, doch es erfüllt seine Zwecke. Da der Inder in zweiter Instanz auch ein Lieferservice ist, ist er es gewohnt, schnell die Speisen herzurichten und hat bis 23.30 Uhr geöffnet.

ShahJahan ist ein indischer Lieferservice. Ich habe jetzt bereits 2x dort bestellt und war jedes Mal hochzufrieden. Superschnelle Lieferung, tolles Essen. Und relativ günstig ist es auch. Tipp: Eine Auswahl aus den zahlreichen Brotspezialitäten zum Essen dazubestellen!
