Stayed here for two nights in early May 2013. I would definitely stay here again the next time I go to Berlin. Why? — Non-tourist location(I’m the tourist that doesn’t like tourists) — Chocolates on the pillows(love attention to detail) — Quiet location(I’m a light sleeper so the darkness & quiet were needed!) — Near the Oranienburger Strasse S-bahn stop(I love public transportation) — Neighborhood has great little restaurants and cafes(I’m kind of a foodie) — Shower has AMAZING water pressure(I have long hair) — Free Wifi in the lobby(I’d prefer the room but i’ll take it!) — Early Check In! — Helpful, patient and kind front desk staff with my limited German Anything I would change? Watch out for those sliding glass doors in the lobby. They were so clean and pristine I forgot they were there I walked head first into it. Great first impression on the hotel staff. Pretty sure she thought I broke the glass with my hard head. Way to go American. So the door locks are not typical American or even typical hotel door locks… I could not have felt like more of a blonde. If it’s your«first time» the trick is to keep turning the key to the right, seriously keep going and turning… you’ll think you’re going to break the key on the last click. You won’t. I had to go back to the front desk because I couldn’t figure it out. Great second impression on the hotel staff. Way to go American.
