Great coffee. Barn beans. Delicious Israeli food.(Get the shakshuka!) Best pita I’ve ever had. Cool owners. Record shop. Good vibes inside. Smart place to work.

Cozy and cute. One of the owners was kind enough to treat me to a lemon grass tea! If you’re in the neighborhood, swing by. Make it a regular place to grab a nosh and a sip of coffee. Side note: MASSIVE rugelach & burekas!

Gordon is a lovely little spot that’s sort of off the beaten path. Yeah, it’s in Schillerkiez, which is apparently the hippest place to live these days, but it still seems like Gordon is on a less busy street, and one that hasn’t been totally gentrified just yet. The inside is minimal and nicely curated, with things like wood furniture, succulents, and tiny dinosaurs throughout. The menu doesn’t have more than a few items, but almost all of them can be made vegan. I was there on a cool fall evening and had the vegan shakshuka, which was warm and hearty. I plan to try the hummus next. They’ve also got desserts, including vegan brownies and chocolate. All in all, I didn’t feel limited in what I could eat. The coffee uses beans from The Barn; I found my Americano to be a bit bitter, but maybe my tastebuds are biased from drinking so much cold brew all summer. Can’t forget to mention the record store in the back room. The music isn’t really my deal(it seemed to be techno and electronic), but it’s worth checking out if you’re into that. Either way, the music they play overhead is chill and not too loud. As for the people working there, nice folks. Friendly and kind. But don’t take my word for it; go see for yourself.

Very cute, friendly and good looking café, almost everything is self-built, which gives a charming atmosphere. There’s a big table in the front area, where you can either sit, or, and I did that quite a few times, work with a group. I still have to try out some more things on the menue, but the drinks and the food that I had so far were tasty! It’s definetly worth to be their guest.

Gordon’s my go-to café in Neukölln. The interior’s so nicely thought-through, food’s all homemade and you can see the guys really know how to make a good coffee. I find the atmosphere’s great for working — internet’s usually fast, there’s always a cool playlist going and plenty of power outlets!

I do not really know Neuköln but I was in the neighborhood waiting for a friend to show up. The café is really nice with great details. I ordered a pita with veggies and boiled egg. It was really good. The pita was homemade and it was packed with taste with a spicy coriander pesto(?). It was good that I decided to get malawach, which is deep fried bread with egg, olives and dressings. It was good, but not as good as the pita. Had a coffee, americano, which was strong and good. I actually wanted a bier, but I could not see it in the menu. I found out they have beer with the name«Bier», the German word for beer. It was great food and a casual atmosphere.

A little taste from home… This is a rather new coffee place in Neukölln. Not too many seats — only three tables, big, medium and small :) If you go to the back you’ll find a little record shop. The design is industrial processed wood tables. As it’s not very hard for me to find people who speak my language here, a few hours there made me think I’m in tel aviv for a moment– and yeah, I kinda liked it. The menu is rather small — but spot on– Burekas, Hummus, Rogalach(chocolate –rolled croissants). I wasn’t hungry that time but it all looked delicious and I will taste them next time for sure– you should try them though, I’m sure it’s amazing as it is Israeli-owned, and we do know our food ;) The music is nice and the blend of people is mostly Israeli-german, at least at the time I was sitting there. It was fun :)
