Genau das hat im Akazienstrassen-​Kiez noch gefehlt! Das Paleo-​Bistro ist toll designed und hat wirklich leckeres und gesundes Essen. Es werden nur hochwertige (Bio) Lebensmittel verwendet und als Allergiker kann man sich absolut sicher sein, dass keine Milch– und Getreideprodukte verwendet werden!

MHmm… das war lecker. Anlässlich des Akazienstraßenfestes gab es eine kleine Probieraktion. Davon angefixt bestellte ich mir dann den Classic Burger, das Brötchen schmeckte wunderbar nussig und war wie alles andere auch natürlich Getreidefrei. Hausgemachter Ketchup — Zuckerfrei — schmeckte auch wunderbar tomatig und fruchtig, also absolut kein Vergleich zu dem aus der Flasche.
Für zu Hause zum Mitnehmen (alle Speisen kann man auch als To go bestellen!) dann auch noch ein Stück Apfelkuchen aus Mandel– und Kokosmehl. Auch ein herrliches Geschmackserlebnis, durch die Verwendung der Nussmehle fast ein bisschen so wie Raffaello.

Ummm somehow my review went to the wrong branch of this establishment and was very much shortened… never write reviews with a bad head cold, on the iPhone with bad reception, not to mention shoddy eyesight!
I basically dashed in like a crazed Asian tourist taking a string of photos. It was supposed to be a quick in and out but I found myself staying because the atmosphere appealed to me and the chap behind the counter had a nice smile.
As I wasn’t so hungry… I let my eyes guide me to the homemade cake section where the words BACON screamed at me. What could I do? Coconut and Bacon sounded healthy and hearty. I could have looked better but I thought good size let’s give it a go… Haha I just saw what I wrote! I meant IT could have looked better, though in my error I could have too in all honesty ;D.
Well I was pleasantly surprised. It was rather tasty and more moist than I thought it would be! I really liked the bacon bits and notes of coconut. I washed this down with a ‘Scharfe Orange’ Iced Tea. The tea itself was not what I expected it was more of a juice in my book but very much to my liking. It was spicy and perfect for my cold and throat. The bottles are quite large so I drank half and took the other half away. My friend had a café Macchiato made with coconut milk. You can choose between that or Almond milk. We also had the much talked about Bullet Proof Coffee. Yummy, much better than my attempts to make it at home!
They have a menu plan for € 10.50 which consists of a soup or fruit salad, dish of the day, a piece of cake and a drink. The daily dishes cost € 8.50, dishes like venison goulash with sweet potato, Chicken and avocado salad, Chilli con Carne with pumpkin, Beef Casserole and Kale Salad. They also do soup of the week for € 4 and Smoothie of the week for € 3
I will definitely revisit to try out some of the main dishes. Though slightly on the expensive side, when you take into consideration that it’s organic it’s reasonable as the same thing in a Paleo restaurant would be much more expensive. The portion sizes have yet to be seen of course. Then will update my star rating ;D
I’m just glad they have something like this local to me and I know my bf is dying to try the place out.
