Discovered Bossiback on my way to Markt am Winterfeldtplatz. The bakery is just like the typical neighborhood bakery shop around the corner that sells assorted pastries, breads, and several savory food items. A few times during the week I’d drop by here and buy a buttery, flaky Schokocroissant, which surprisingly contained a good amount of chocolate. On other occasions I’d pick up a Berliner or dine-in and order a macchiato and some sort of sweet pastry for breakfast– can’t recall the name of it at the moment, but it’s almost bigger than my face. Perhaps the worst thing I bought from here was this poppy seed roll, which I thought was a sweet roll covered with tiny bits of «chocolate sprinkles». Bossiback receives an OK from me. Their coffee and pastries aren’t bad tasting(except for that poppy seed roll…), and the service is decent. It’s a good place to stop in for a quick breakfast if you’re in the area.
