Durch Zufall entdeckt! Obwohl das Personal leicht verpeilt war, war es sehr angenehm & das Essen lecker… Ich hatte das vorher noch nie, demnach hab ich keinen Vergleich aber ich kann es nur empfehlen

Ich war Anfang Mai hier zufällig in der Nähe und ganz űberrascht, dass es einen neuen Philippinen gibt in Berlin. Bisher gab es ja nur das Pan und das Pinoi. Also gleich rein und ausprobiert. Und ich war sehr angenehm űberrascht. Die beiden Mädels vom Service waren sehr nett und schnell und das Essen war lecker. Die Preise sind etwas zu hoch für einen Streetfoodladen. Aber sonst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

I was here earlier today for lunch. And after my experience, I don’t think I’d be recommending this place. I’ve definitely experienced better.
I arrived and sat down at 14:25. I placed my order of Binagoongan (No. 55) at 14:30. I also placed an order for the mango shake. The shake came within ten minutes.
However, the binagoongan came way later. I waited and waited and waited, and 45 minutes later, it was still not there. One staff member approached me so I asked if it typically takes 45 minutes for the binagoongan to arrive. They offered me some additional drinks, but I refused.
3 minutes later, it did arrive. It was okay. You know, there’s this weird feeling that it felt rushed, the pork wasn’t tender enough, and it definitely was chewier than I expected. I know how to cook binagoongan, and my binagoongan is definitely not tough like this one but tender.
Overall, it was not a positive experience. I wonder why people forget to place orders. There were at least three people staffing the small dining room. Other restaurants have managed to have a single staff managing a dining hall larger than that.
Ayan brands itself as a street food restaurant, and when people say street food, it typically is fast. This is nothing like that at all. I came after the lunch rush hour. I only wonder what it would be like if it were during noontime or dinner time when the restaurant is actually full.
