i saw this restaurant in the NYT’s 36 hours in izmir article. this place does not have a menu. to start, they will bring a gigantic platter of meze for you to choose from. after you choose, they go back and plate them up for you w/all the trimmings. next they move onto your fish course, and i got to choose my seabass that they grilled to perfection. they also went around w/grilled octopus and asked me if i wanted one, and of course i did. this place is a ferry ride away from the konac ferry terminal and is well-worth the trip.
