Our tour guide brought us here in 2013 on the trip to Kusadasi. We loved the food and the owner. When we planned our cruise for July 2015 and saw that we had a stop in the port we arranged to take a private tour with lunch here. Since we arrived in between tours we were able to see all the food on display and leisurely select our meal. We went back for seconds since the food was so delicious. The bill came to 48TL which was $ 24US for four people– a super value! We will plan to come here again should our cruise ship have a stop in Kusadasi.

Thank you so much Unilocal!I would have never found this place on the road to Sirince from Selcuk without you. This restaurant overlooking a small stream and a beautiful olive grove covered mountainside was one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. The food in the buffet was probably the best we had while in Turkey and the home cooking was a VERY welcome departure from the kebaps you end up eating every day in Turkey. Extremely nice staff too. HIGHLY recommended. It’s located about halfway to Sirince from Selcuk on your right. Don’t miss it.

Lunch at Bizim Ev Hanimeli Restaurant was the absolute highlight of my entire stay in Turkey. This is a unique and authentic restaurant where you can try home-style Turkish food with fresh ingredients. There are about 20 or more dishes to try and I loved every single one. Lots of perfectly tender meat to choose from as well as a range of stewed, grilled vegetables such as eggplant, tomato, and mild peppers. The fried cauliflower was a highlight and all of the flavors pair so well together. The little cornmeal dessert cake had a masa-like consistency and was just sweet enough with a dash of cinnamon. I would definitely consider buying their cookbook as I didn’t purchase one while I was there, and am now wishing I did!

A great variety of home-cooked authentic Turkish food at a reasonable price — an easy winner! My favourite was the moussaka — and apparently it was in the group we were in as they ran out(more came, but I was stuffed by then). The buffet in general wasn’t heavy on meat but full of flavour, with lots of interesting dishes, local ingredients, and a good number of choices. The owner/chef was a lovely friendly lady. ₺30 each, including a Coke — and it was all you can eat. They also bring you a little sweet at the end. You think you couldn’t possibly — but we all did. Sure, it may be geared towards the bus loads of people, but that’s understandable — you have to have numbers in to make the buffet food viable. A gem!

Excellent food at a great price. For 25 Lira per person, enjoy all you can eat authentic Turkish food. A big stop for tour companies, but the food is great. The owner speaks English and can explain everything on the buffet. They take all forms of payment and all currencies. The restaurant name translates to «my mothers kitchen!» Literally tastes like you’re eating home cooked food. Pick up a cookbook from the restaurant on your way out if you want to try these dishes back home. Clean restaurant. Friendly service. 5 stars!
