This is a local«ev yemeği» place, serving home-cooked food. You basically walk in, peruse what’s cooking, and pick and choose what you want. The prices seem a bit arbitrary and you don’t really know how much it’s going to be until they ring you up. Nevertheless, the two times I’ve been here the food was lovely and ingredients were fresh; I really enjoyed it. If you’re in the hood and you want to try some classic Turkish dishes, this could be the right place! Careful at lunchtime, though… it can be swamped with workers on their breaks. It’s best to go around 1pm for lunch.
