My daughter and I walked a short distance there from Doubletree Hotel looking for a home cooked meal taste… different from the hotel feel which is actually really good as well. We had Bostan Kebabi, Yayla Corbasi, Kadinbudu kofte, yogurt, pilav and picked up Zerde for desert and all were so very good. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a decent home style meal. Afiyet olsun!

This restaurant was recommended to us by guest services at Doubletree Hilton, our hotel of choice in Kadikoy. We were looking for authentic Turkish cuisine nearby and this restaurant met our expectations and BEYOND. Most of the waiters didn’t speak English, so a courteous gentleman who did speak it rather quite well, who may also have been the owner/manager, assisted us throughout our entire meal after we situated ourselves in the outdoor seating area. We ordered a salad to share and two lamb entrees based on his recommendations and they were one of the better meals we’ve had in Turkey(and we had countless good meals!). The best part of the meal was the service — the gentleman(I knew we should’ve asked for his name!) provided us with complimentary accompaniments to our meal, including their homemade lemonade with mint, baklava from their bakery next door and cayi. It was our first meal of the day and we didn’t expect to walk away so full, but we happily devoured EVERYTHING and was fully energized for the day ahead of us. Yanyali was unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip :) Thank you!

Like the Turkish version of where the Godfather would eat. Had stewed lamb with onions — simple and tasty. Also some sort of meatball wrapped in eggplant and vegetables. Both tender and good. Don’t serve alcohol.
