After reading others comments we decided to visit this place of home cooking food, well, the food is good if get help by someone that can read Turkish, the portion is very small in way that we left hungry instead of going through the order method and plates delivery. I guess it could be good for locals more than for tourists

OK We came after reading some Unilocal reviews. This small place was next to our apartment. It is traditional Turkish food with awesome prices. It works like this: 1. You get a table that you may share with other persons. 2. There is a piece of paper(in Turkish!) no pictures, with the current offering. 3. You feel a small piece of paper with the disred order and put it into the a small food elevator. 4. The elevator goes down and after a moment it returns with your order. You should stand up and pick it. The tricky part is to know what to order, so I recommend check some of the pics on Unilocal. You can also go down to the kitchen and point to the dish you want(They speak little english) The experience was really good! Tasty food and the women that work in this place are super polite and helpful. You don’t feel they want to rip you off or take advantage or that you don’t know the language. You see mostly only locals here, making it one of few authentic food places in the area. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to try something different!

Once upon a time in another life, I hung out in the kitchen learning to cook courgette fritters — an experience I will never forget even though I have long forgotten the recipe. I’m so glad that this place still exists after all these years in an area that seems to have a high turnover rate. Love the quaint feel of the restaurant and having to go down to the kitchen to place your order. The woman(!!!) who owns this place is lovely and runs her staff and restaurant accordingly. She has a real love of food which shows in this version of Turkish home food which she serves. I remember one day when she was in the kitchen and cutting a head of cauliflower. She cut pieces of the tender inner part of the stem for all of the staff and they all began humming and putting all of the tips of their fingers together like only a Turk can to show appreciation for the deliciousness of that situation. «Guzel», indeed.
