I am a Turk living in USA. I had many good steaks in my life. First the good: the view is crazy awesome right by the water. The service is excellent as well. But the steaks themselves were no good. First of all, most steak houses in Turkey cook steak half a level too much. Rare is medium rare for example. We all ordered medium rare. One came very rare, other came medium rare and the other was well done. My porterhouse was tough. My gf’s clup steak didn’t have any of the items mentioned(but was tasty anyways but extremely rare). Second, The drinks cost well above average for such a place. A lot of the wines by glass cost almost as much as the steak. It was not busy. Just us and one more table. Why was it so hard to cook steak as ordered?
