This is an extremely cute café/shop on my favorite hipster street in the Galata area. It seems to be a bit off of the main tourist path, but this area is absolutely worth checking out. There are at least a dozen shops on the street to buy quirky, local products and Sntrl Dukkan is the perfect pit stop for some breakfast or a snack along with some additional shopping! This café has a variety of pastries that are made daily and available for purchase along with a variety of other breakfast items. I enjoyed the fried eggs with sausage which came in a small iron skillet. They were a bit runnier than I’m used to, so if that’s a problem for you just ask for them to be cooked more completely. The sausage was sliced up and distributed through my eggs. They were delicious! Service was also quite fast if you’re looking for a short breakfast stop in the morning. A selection of beverages is available with your classic Turkish teas and coffee to a Café Americano. There’a also a great retail section to this place, with everything from jewelry to bags to kitchenware to wall décor. It all seemed to be artsy, somewhat locally produced wares. The prices ranged from easily affordable to major splurge, but the quality also seemed very high and worth it. There is also free wifi and your server will gladly share the password!
