Ritim Bar

Round 4 of my drinking spree. Good music. Fair price on drinks. Turkish beer is not bad. I’ll have to go back when I’m sober to see how it really taste like.

It’s a good place to dance. I have been to this place twice, and I liked it both times. I was on the last floor each time each time I went there. They played upbeat music, so I could go and dance with my friends. If you come there too early and see tables in the middle and nobody dancing — don’t worry. At some point of time, the staff puts away the tables and people start to dance.
The location is good — right in middle of Istiklal street. The entrance is free, and the prices are affordable. Plus, I felt pretty save there.

Dance to Drink vs Drink to Dance
This place has many different types of customers because the music is good, drinks are cheap/​reasonable and location is just in the middle of Istiklal St. and just near by Nevizade. I go there anytime I want to dance and drink or drink and dance :) Let’s say both at the same time. The only think I did not give 5 starts cuz its too crowded sometimes and I prefer them to stop after some point. Anyway its been my favorite since I have known and hope it will stay like this.

The thing I love about the roof/​terrace of this bar is that the DJ always plays my requests, whether they are «The Macarena» or «The Whistle Song.» So, as you probably guessed, it’s the kind of place that plays crowd-​pleasing dance music. Open late into the night, foreigners and Turks with only a bit of cash like this place, and they definitely don’t care if you don’t order beer (although it’s cheap).
It’s true what some other reviewers say: this place is geared toward the Erasmus/​foreign student crowd, but I see no problem with that. Everyone is always friendly and up for a good time, and when it gets crowded you can party with the people closest to you. I love the open ceiling, lets in air because the owners let people smoke inside. I also fell in love at this bar, so maybe I’m biased.
The owners recently changed so it’s turned out to not really be our thing anymore, but it’s no problem, the whole atmosphere has stayed the same. If you like to dance and want to experience a kind of crazy but rather exciting nightlife in Istanbul, this is it. A go-​to bar for foreigners who want to dance and meet other friendly dancers.
