My Turkish colleague, with whom I’d been visiting this place, told me that this area is known for its cheap but god cafés. Apparently there’s lots of students coming here and most of the cafés cater to the students’ lower budgets… but yet not compromising on quality either. And this is what I experienced here as well. I actually can’t tell you what exactly we ate, as it was my colleague who ordered, but I can tell you that I very much enjoyed the great variety of it all: olives, cheeses, a whole suite of differ jams(the name of this place translates as «jams»), a plate of various fried meats, and meneme eggs(Turkish scrambled eggs with feta cheese, chillies and tomatoes). It might not be the greatest culinary adventure here, but I liked it nevertheless and would suggest you to come by for a typical Turkish breakfast.
