I am one month in to my new vegatarian lifestyle(its going great btw thanks for asking!) A veggie friend of mine recommended Parsifal. Ironically it is located across the street from another great veggie place(Zencefil) Though you can’t compare the décor of the two places, Zencefil takes the cake on that one, Parisfal has great service and great food. Their sport a multi language menu with servers that speak English. I had the veggie lasanga and was absolutly stuffed halfway through. Great vibe, great service and delicious food. The prices are moderatley high, but worth it. Only draw back of this fine fine establishment, is that they do not have alochol. But hey, I guess when you are eating healthy you should be drinking healthy also!

Parsifal is nearly the only«real» vegeterian restaurant in Istanbul. Prices & Foods are good.

Nice atmosphere, sort of laid back hippy. But the food was uninspired, plain with little spice or flavor. Several dishes were too greasy.

i thought this place was great! good taste and generous portions, not too oily and didnt wait too long! i was happy to find a place in Istanbul that provided a vegan gluten free option for most of their menu. went back twice in my stay in Istanbul. Although the salad wasnt dressed, its a good portion size and they provide oil and lemon to dress yourself. Would recommend to any vegans travelling through or anyone looking for healthy meal option.

Finding a vegetarian place in Turkey is like finding a needle in a haystack. That being said.. The food was too oily for my taste. The bread shown in the pictures is very un appetizing …

Great little restaurant in a wonderful, vibrant area of Istanbul. It almost feels like you’re in Paris, there is a very French vibe to the décor. I also loved it because they clearly adore cats, you’ll notice that from all the photos on the wall! Aside from the feel, the food was delicious, everything vegetarian with a wide range of vegan options. Really a must try for vegans/vegetarians visiting this city.

Delicious veggie food in Taksim Sq. Falafel and mushroom burger was delicious and staff very friendly. I recommend this place to any vegetarian looking for good food in istanbul. Also in a fun lively area of taksim.

Great vegetarian option just off of Taksim Square! Since it is a little off the beaten path, it feels authentic and is more reasonably priced than some of the places on the main road. We got one of the samplers, which had enough food for three people to share. The food is good if your’re a vegetarian, but would probably be a bit bland for meat-eaters. The waiters were nice, the place was clean, no complaints and would recommend to veggies in Istanbul!

So, so good. Delicious food, of course, but also such good pricing for the quality and definitely a good vibe with lots of cool people to run into. A MUST!

I was really happy to find this gem of a place while visiting Istanbul. It is right in Taksim Square just off the main stretch. I went here a few times during my week stay. Great vegan burgers and traditional dishes done veggie. This is a simple sit down affordable place that is 100 percent vegetarian and has many vegan options. The menu labels what is vegetarian and what is vegan making ordering easy. Plus save room for desert. They have been around for more than 10 years, so nice to see that they are still going strong.

My friend a vegetarian so we thrilled to try it out. I ordered the veg crepes and my friend have the Lasagna. Coming from San Francisco, the foods are ok. Nothing special about them and they served pretty quickly. Wonder if they pre-made and just heat them up. It is a nice place to chill from the bustling street of Istickal street.

As the selection for vegetarian restaurants in Turkey is rather limited, we were happy to come across Parsifal, just minutes away from Taksim Square. The atmosphere is very relaxed and feels like a café. There are only about a dozen tables, but quite a wide selection of dishes. The menu, in fact, is presented in six different languages, including Spanish, German and French. The kofte trio is amazing. I loved the mushroom-flavoured burger(kofte)! However, the side of eggplant was pre-cooked and while it was alright, it didn’t stand out to all the amazing eggplant we’d been eating all over Turkey. The cappuccino was also excellent. I would have come back with a book if I’d found this place earlier. Pleasant service. Reasonable prices. Free Wi-Fi is available as well.

As a ‘part time vegetarian’ I’ve been looking for good vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Istanbul… a daunting task indeed! I came across this place with my vegetarian friend and was very impressed. The portions are quite generous, and budget within 15TL. The décor was very cozy, with cool paintings and chill music accompanied by friendly service. And the location is conveniently located in Taksim. The menu is quite diverse, and my choice of the vegetarian crêpe was excellent. Definitely a must for vegetarians in Istanbul.

parsifal makes me sad that i as a human only sport one stomach. if only i were an alien with seven places to digest food anyway, always when i am here i am experiencing the best of a restaurant visit: the cool waiter dudes are amazingly friendly and relaxed, the music is lovely & smart, the place itself is simply cute(a distinctive love for cats is visible!) and the food is just delicious. a further big plus: you can get most of the meals as a vegan option, too. their prices for a main course are perfect somewhere between 12 and 18TL. i was only just there today for lunch, but i’d so love to go back for dinner tonite. hmm maybe tomorrow. so if you are a vegetarian or vegan in istanbul, please go visit parsifal. you will not regret it, i promise.
