Hey, it was a nice place, in a sort of secret location, but not too bad at all. I hear it can be a tough task to get seating at this place, but once you do, you’re glad you tried. The beer we had was a shocking 4TL only (ask for Pera). It’s a beer brewed at a hotel nearby, and you get it mad cheap o’er here. They have a swing chair table, which means I have to go back and try to get it, even if that means going at 11am on a Tuesday.
They seated us at a table that was actually already occupied, but the (un)friendly student types next to us didn’t protest.
Cool atmosphere, chill music, definitely an early evening place. It gets loud and very dark after sunset.
It gets a negative star for allowing smoking inside (a pet peeve of mine), and a further negative for being really popular among tourists and Erasmus students, which, while not necessarily a bad thing, is not preferable if you want to feel among locals or meet lotsa Turks.
