Great view… that’s it. Fortunately, there are so many other places in Istanbul with great view. Suggestion to the staff: What you are serving is NOT latte. That is something else called«Café au Lait» or «Coffee with Milk». If you don’t know the difference between these two, maybe you should not be serving them in the first place.

This place is just OK to me, the service was good, the view was outstanding especially on a clear day! There is just something beautiful about being around water. The food was just OK, I had a sucuk and cheese omelette that they burnt somehow and some chocolate chip pancakes which weren’t bad. I can say I was a little disappointed from all the hype I heard about this place. I will come back and give it another try though. The atmosphere of the place is warm, the décor is nice. Love the painting’s on the wall by café! Once again the view to where you can watch the boats, water and look onto the other side of Istanbul which is Asia, is superb!

After living in Istanbul for six months and craving the semblance of a US or NZ styled breakfast, with bacon and tasty coffee, etc., I was very pleased to find this charming little spot. The bacon is thin and narrow but good(it’s like NZ bacon but half the width). I got the Old Timer’s Breakfast and Pour Over coffee. The coffee was so flavorful that I drank it without milk. The beans were nice(gourmet, leaner version of Boston baked beans) – and the mushrooms were decent, if plain. But where were the potatoes? it said potatoes on the menu, and so I expected pan fried potatoes(«home» style), but nothing showed up. The bread and olive oil were nice, and the pan fried tomatoes, too. I’ll definitely come back to try the pancakes and savory crepes. Cons: why is the coffee so expensive? 20tl for ONE small cup of coffee? That’s twice as much as boutique coffee places in Seattle for the same kind of brewing method. And why must we pay for water? Surely a place like this can offer free bottled water. The wait staff was more attentive than other reviewers said, but the delay in picking up the check was odd. Pros: the Bosphorus views are nice, if there’s seating for them. It’s also quiet and calm, even on a Saturday morning. You can’t find better coffee, even if it’s far too over-priced; actually, they’d make more money on coffee if I could feel okay buying more than one cup.

I absolutely love this place… Wonderful view of Bosporus, right on the water, an elegant café… No better place to spend a Sunday afternoon with a nice coffee and some cupcakes. It’s also a great place to work… It would be amazing to have couple more spots like this one! Hey do have big tables so you can also go with a group of people and enjoy your time, chat, work together. I have to say that it is on the pricey side but that’s what would be expected from a place like that in that location. View is amazing, staff is friendly, service is good, product is great, atmosphere is Lovely. You would not regret it!

If you crave for an American breakfast this is the place to go. You’ll find pancakes. scrambled eggs and real bacon here. The only downside is the waitstaff. The service sucks. The last time I was here my order came late and wrong — THREE times in a row. Don’t go over the weekend, especially Sundays, as the very young waitstaff is still too hungover to get your order straight! Weekdays are the best!

Café in Bebek.
