I am staying at the Renaissance hotel in Besiktas. Within blocks from my hotel, I found Fish of the North restaurant. We ordered fish soup, fish and chips, a salad with green lentils and a nice size grilled fish over it. Everything was better than our expectation. The salad was fresh, the fish was grilled and the portion was generous.
My fish and chips was as good as they get. The fries were light in color which indicated fresh oil were used to fry them.
I had to ask for lemon wedges and catsup, but not complaining.
I took pictures of it on my ipad. I wish I could post it, but I’m in bed writing this with my phone. I’m not getting out of bed to get my ipad. Just trust me on this one!
