America needs a bit of Turkey. That’s how good the REAL ice cream is! They have real flavors that taste as the name states. I got cherry, it tasted like cherries SERIOUSLY! Our daughter said, USA needs to update cuz my ice cream needs to be with home… she had Nutella and chocolate chip. It was good too. Vanilla was yummy.

I really don’t know what the big deal with this place is – it seems to have opened recently. Ice cream is great all over the world, and I’ve definitely had better. Not to mention that it is a bit pricey for Istanbul standards. When you see this place on Istiklal, you can easily skip it and walk down to the gelato place by Tunel square to try theirs instead. :)

It this the best ice cream in Istanbul? Well, I’d say so!
Try the banana-​chocolate ice cream, it tastes absolutely irresistible! And their waffles are a treat as well — especially the blueberry waffles, oh dear, I could and would kill for those!
The staff are also really friendly and help out, although their English skills aren’t the best, they really do everything to help. This is what makes Charly Temmel a 5 Star Place for me!
