Bursa Kebap Evi

I don’t recommend this please because of their business mentality and food quality. I was first time goer and it was the last though.

I recently had an 8hr layover in Istanbul and decided to spend the day quaintly watching the airport activity from the FlyInn mall terrace. Before heading back to the airport for the last leg of my journey, I decided to grab a bite to eat and Bursa Kebap Evi was one of the few decently priced and authentic-​looking options on the top floor.
I went with their famous Bursa Kebap, or commonly known as Iskender kebap. Thinly sliced pieces of lamb topped with tomato sauce over pieces of bread and a side of yogurt. As simple as this sounds, it was very delicious. I usually prefer lamb shashlik over shwarma-​stlye lamb, but I was pleasantly surprised here. Nice combination of ingredients that went down easily and quickly due to my growing hunger. Even better when combined with their fresh fermented grape drink.
They have an English menu, but you can get by with pictures. There’s free wifi and you can load the Google Translate app if you have any problems. Service is very friendly as it is in most of Istanbul. A great meal to finish off my layover!
