Sunny Istanbul was welcoming us a few days ago so we had to make a stop for a good coffee outside in the sun. The menu has enough coffee specialties to offer. We were really interested in the beer-coffee, some mix with coffee, espresso and spices which looks like a Guinness. Eveything is of course freshly brewed and it was very tasty. The staff is very nice as well. With 4 € our drink was the most expensive one — for german prices still lower price level.

I loved the baristas of this coffee shop. I observed them for a while and I saw that they are so happy doing their jobs! They were just like dancing while preparing the delicious coffees for the clients. Even after a while I started to talk to them, and they said that making coffee makes them so happy and joyful. I was interested of preparation of special coffees, and one of the baristas explained and showed me how to prepare V-60 and Syphon coffee types. Getting expert on it! The atmosphere is quite good. The place is good for working as well, not so loudly.

It’s hard to get a good cup of non-Turkish review in Istanbul, as much as I adore the city. This place does the job — made me a perfect chemex drip and have all the filter and cold brew methods you could ask for. A bit pricey, but to be expected.

I was intrigued by the vibrant blue colours of this place as I passed by, and also that it noted located of Cape Town, Zurich, and Istanbul. I was curious, so entered. Trendy, bright, clean, modern interior that compliments the very high end five star hotel adjacent to this property, yet still I found it cozy. I learned later that this is not just a coffee shop, but also a coffee roaster that supplies coffee to several shops in the Istanbul area. They also serve Swiss Movenpick ice cream, which I am a sucker for. On the website the owner’s favourite coffee is a Flat White, which is definitely hard to find outside Australia/New Zealand, and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take one. I was not disappointed. The coffee was great. The place also seems to serve pastries and bites to eat, but as I came in late in the day everything was gone. Great coffee and great place to relax your feet.
