Gourmet döner is becoming an IT-thing in Istanbul. Bayramoğlu is one of the cornerstones of this trend. And as such, I realized that everyone does have its own preferred location. Mine is not Bayramoğlu but certainly it’s somewhere up there. It’s just that I prefer some other places döners better. But these guys do rock as well.
Döner is really tasty. Ayran which comes along — ditto. Service is prompt. Almost too prompt.
Bayramoglu is not a place for lingering around. It’s all business. You go in, you eat your döner and you leave.

This is just great. Fast and delicious food. My fourth time in several years but awesome. Doner is great. They said they sell over 2000 kg of gyro per day. İ really want these guys go global.

This is the most famous place to eat in Kavacik, which is not a touristic district of Istanbul but is usually associated with large companies. We went here during lunch and they had for large doner wheels and the place was pretty crowded. If you ever pass by Kavacik try the traditional Turkish doner served with fresh ‘lavas’ (thin bread like wrap’.

It’s a very nice place the taste of the döner is the best in Istanbul. I didn’t give 5 stars because it gets really crowded on the weekends.

Very busy with locals, one of the best doner kebabs in Istanbul, located on the Asian side. Do not expect to find a good service, but just good doner.

By far the best doner I have ever had. The restaurant is definitely not fancy, more like a very tasty fast food. As soon as you sit down salads arrive and the menu is limited to doner but it is made from very good meat and the taste is so very different.
One problem is that it is always crowded (for good reason) and can be noisy and hectic but service is fast nonetheless.

Super Döner Restaurant.
immer recht voll dort, sowohl mittags als auch am Abend.
Die Speisen sind immer sehr frisch. Brot und Kebap wird sichtbar hergestellt.
das Fleisch kann von zart bis knusprig, würzig bestellt werden.
die Bedienung ist schnell und nett.
Ich gehe hier sehr gerne hin, wenn es lecker, gesund und schnell sein soll.
