Al Bushra

Moody waiter who was not very welcoming or didn’t seem happy to work there, food quality is quite poor comparing to any Lebanese restaurant I have been to before

I will start this review by saying the food in Al Bushra is very good… we got the fixed price (95 turkish lira) tasting for two and the dishes were well prepared and tasty. The chicken kebobs were some of the best we had in Turkey. The dessert was the weakest part of the meal since it was only a plate of fruit.
However because of the service and rude treatment from the management of the establishment I don’t think I can recommend this place. Our waiter was not attentive and went missing after the final kebobs were served. We had to ask another waiter for our dessert, more water and finally the bill. Never received tea or asked if we wanted anything else. After we got the bill we saw we were charged a 26 lira service fee (only 2 of us)…asked why and were not given an explanation. Asked to speak to the manager and when we explained we were disappointed with the service and should not have to pay for a service fee that was not advertised he pretty much walked away. I am not sure what was going on that night but felt like they wanted to take advantage of us because we were tourists.
