same mgmt as academie but alkoholsuz :) certainly good for desserts
The décor reminds me of visiting a suburban aunt or a friend of my mother: big floral prints, white rural woodwork and mixture of armchairs /​loveseats. I may not been keen on the furnishings, Hobby serves the biggest cup of sahlep in Ankara. It also sells traditional macaroons, not only Parisian style ones.
Enjoy the dessert display case: there’s a lot of selection, but aesthetic presentation could be much improved.
My friend and I sat amidst a relatively empty room because locals like to sit outside (so they can smoke, presumably)… but it wasn’t a problem because Christmas pop music filled the space. We particularly loved the staff members who kinda danced around.
I’ll return but I’m reserving four stars for food, etc.
