Yooji’s Seefeld

Für mich eine grosse Enttäuschung. Es wird nicht frisch zubereitet nur morgens früh angeliefert. Wasabi & Ingwer ist absolut nicht frisch. Alles aus der Tube. Service: bei 3 belegten Tischen muss die Bedienung immer wieder selbst hergerufen werden. Fazit: Preis & Leistung passt hier nicht

Anlass: Nachtessen, 2 Personen
Essen: die Qualität des Essen ist tip top. Geschmacklich ist das Essen ebenfalls lecker. Preis-​Leistung für Sushi optimal, da man sonst nirgends für diesen Preis Sushi erhält.
Location: ist im typischen Yoojis-​Stil eingerichtet. Entweder es gefällt einem, oder nicht. Die Location an sich ist kein Highlight, aber ok. Der Garten ist ebenfalls nett, aber auch hier kein Highlight. Die Location eignet sich nicht für ein romantisches Dinner.
Service: junges, nettes Team. Man wird rasch bedient und erhält die Speisen zeitgerecht.
Fazit: gut für ein schnelles Dinner. Für zwei Personen keine Reservation nötig, für mehr als zwei Personen Reservation nötig.

Exzellente Sushi Variationen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist die Schoggiglace. Etwas teuer sind die Preise schon im Vergleich zum Ausland.

This is really overpriced, really awful sushi. While the ambiance is cool and the sushi go-​round experience fun for those looking for that, the fish is really, really bad. Granted I lived in Japan and Hawaii for quite some time, so I have decent standards for sushi, but I was desperate for sushi on a Sunday and could hardly choke this down. Would really recommend you try somewhere else.

I’ve been to other Yooji’s in Zürich, but last Saturday was the first time that I ate dinner in this location. It’s a bit smaller than the ones at Josef and Bellevue, and it doesn’t have the cool touch-​screens at each seat at the sushi belt to order drinks and stuff. :(
Saturday night was filled with lots of peeps and kids during the dinner rush, and although I thought I had made reservations for 2 at the sushi belt for 7 pm, the restaurant seated us at a table we had to share with another couple. Oh well. :/​
This was the first time I had to order sushi off the menu without looking at it from the sushi belt, so it was a little bit annoying that we couldn’t just grab stuff spontaneously.
Last time I had the Roero Arneis white wine at the Bellevue location and really liked it, so I ordered another glass this time. But for some reason, it didn’t seem to taste as good, so I switched to a Asahi beer for my next drink.
My friend ordered the octopus salad, which would not have have been my initial choice, but it turned out to be really yummy. Kind of reminded me of cuttlefish I had in Spain a while ago.
We shared a bunch of inside out rolls – salmon cucumber, rainbow tuna, and California. The rainbow tuna was just filled with tuna and avocado. I had expected a California roll topped with fish, but I guess that’s more American style.
We also ordered shrimp wraps, which was like a spring roll filled with lettuce. Interesting and a good appetizer for some greens. Chocolate mochi ice cream rounded out our dinner.
Dinner for 2, including drinks cost just over CHF 100. I give this place 4 stars for tasty food, friendly atmosphere, and reasonably affordable sushi in Zürich. I wouldn’t say the ambiance is super romantic, but still good for a nice dinner out with friends or for a date. :)

Sehr gutes und grosses Angebot an ständig frisch zubereiteten Sushis. Man kann sich entweder an ein Fliessband setzen, oder an kleine Tischchen daneben. Es ist recht eng im Restaurant, nicht wirklich ein Ort zum gemütlich abhängen.
Der Service ist nett und aufmerksam.
Es ist ziemlich viel los im Yooji’s Seefeld, auch viele Leute die Sushi mitnehmen, das spricht für das Restaurant.

Ich mag das Yooji’s am Bellevue viel lieber. Da darf man sich nämlich auch mit den Take away Sachen hinsetzen, im Seefeld wollen sie das nicht. 1 Kette, unterschiedliche Regeln. Naja, der See war zum Glück nicht weit weg, und da ist die Aussicht alle mal schöner als auf die Seefeldstrasse.

Located in Seefeld, it gets four stars for being a cheap, cheery and convenient sushi place without the hassles of reservations. Walk ins are welcome but they do take reservations too.
The sushi is done with a local flavor — meaning a lot of it has what I find annoyingly, cream cheese, in many of the sushi. However, you can order from the menu and ask them to exclude cream cheese.
As with the other Yooji’s, you can conveniently see, grab and eat sushi right off the conveyor belt. Or you can also order from the menu, which also offers warm food like udon noodle soup. Even though Yooji’s is a chain in Zurich, this location has the better sushi — please don’t be fooled and think you will get a similar environment and quality of food at the one say at Bellevue, you won’t!
The atmosphere is casual and calm, the temperate is just right, and they also offer a good outdoor seating when temperature permits. The service has always been average to very good.
If you are there when they are making the makis — there is a pretty big cool machine that the workers put sushi rice in, and then the machine automatically pumps out sushi rice onto a flattened sheet of nori, ready for the sushi chefs to roll veggies or fish to make a quick and mean maki. Entertaining to watch for first few times, especially with children or adults who are fascinated with «how do you make…».
For those wishing something less curtailed to «local flavor» but still searching for cheap and cheery, I’d recommend Samurai, though it is less conveniently located.

Mittelmässige Sushis.

Sehr gutes Sushi-​Restaurant mit vielen leckeren Gerichten und schönem Garten. Nette Bedienung und faire Preise. Neuerdings auch frisch geriebener Wasabi! Soba Nudeln und Udon Suppe ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Auch selteneres Sushi und Sashimi zu haben. Absolut zu empfehlen.

das Yooji mag Durchschnittliches anbieten, ich finde es aber gut vernetzt und take away /​home delivery sind natürlich top, wenn man in Zöri lebt… gehe gern hin, aber ohne grosse Erwartungen.
Dank seiner Standorte nicht bloss ein Hype-​Lokal im Seefeld… hier war zwar der erste Schuppen, danach gabs Filialen am Bellevue & Josefstrasse 112, was ich sehr gerne sehe, war oft auch im Kreis 5 essen… ist sogar in Winti und im Glattzentrum…

Ist die Kellnerschaft auch ein wenig unaufmerksam so ist das Sushi doch sehr ordentlich. Das Ambiente ist außen schön, innen ist der Laden eher wie ein Edelsupermarkt aufgemacht.

Sushi, Sashimi, Vegi-​Gerichte, Suppen… mir schmeckt einfach alles im Yooji’s! Super Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis und auch ganz nette Bedienungen!
Vor allem im Sommer ist das Yooji’s Seefeld besonders zu empfehlen: Denn Suhi im Garten schmeckt gleich noch mal um einiges besser :)

Wenn wir hier Sushi essen, dann natürlich immer direkt vom Förderband. Lecker! Und wir essen immer garantiert mehr als geplant.

Ein weiterer Japaner der besuchenswert ist! Essen 1A, Bedienung 1A!

Hier gibt es Sushi zum Da-​Essen als auch zum Mitnehmen. Und das finde ich mal echt eine Idee. Also die fertigen Sushi-​Pakte in der Tiefkühltheke aussuchen und dann zuhaus sich bequem machen vorm TV und Sushi essen :-)

Ich war positiv überrascht, als ich mit einer Freundin im Yooji’s in Seefeld zum Sushi essen waren. Wir saßen im kleinen, atmosphärischen Garten und liesen uns Sushi und selbstgemachte Limonaden schmecken. Nette Leute, nette Bedienungen, nette Preise — Kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
