passed by with a simple request re. my bike. got rejected as I did not buy the bike with them. «no time» to even take a look at the bike. will never become a customer here.

Not the newest stock (there’s a good coat of dust on the bells), but this crew knows how to turn a wrench. Two people working, and two bikes in the stand when I visited — only place in the area I’ve seen that’s this focused on the mechanical side of things.
The new bike selection inside is small but well chosen, and the used bikes are… eclectic. The Dutch bike I was riding only stuck out a little.
If you need clean carpet, the newest jerseys, or a slick salesperson, you might want to look elsewhere — but if you need a set of hard-​to-​find RaceBlade fenders, a good lock, and someone who knows how to true a wheel, check out velogarage.

Wer in Zürich schnell und individuell zum Ziel kommen muss, nutzt das Velo. Man kann hier in der City Velos mieten oder sein eigenes irgendwo deponieren. Es ist einfach perfekt, wenn man sich im Sommer nicht ins Tram quetschen muss und all die leckeren Düfte in die Nase bekommt. Ich kann das nicht leiden, wenn schon morgens um sieben Uhr die Leute riechen, als ob das Wasser für die morgentliche Dusche ausgegangen ist. Da schwing ich mich doch lieber auf meinen Drahtesel und kurve von A nach B.
Aber wer kennt das nicht, mal hat man einen Platten, mal wird einem Etwas abmontiert und manchmal bekommt man von alleine diese böse Velokette einfach nicht mehr richtig hingebogen. Da ist es doch perfekt, dass im Kreis 5 bei der Fabrikstrasse die Velogarage ist. Hier kann man sein Göppeli schnell flicken lassen und wer mag, kann es hier noch aufmotzen lassen. Pimp my Velo. Einfach super.
