Tintos yes another amazing place, incredible vine selection and try. The food is incredible and the service top notch. Also do not come without reservations, it is small and fills up fast. Also a great place if you just come to visit the bar and try some amazing rojas

Another visit to Tinto = another full belly and a big smile! Damn, I’m in love with this place. I might just try to find an apartment within 60 seconds walking distance… This time we tried a new bottle of wine(2009 San Roman) that was suggested by the waiter and turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It was actually a ‘Tinta de Toro’ grape which, I was told, is just another name for Tempranillo from this region of Toro. In general I’m not a fan of Tempranillo, but this had 14.5% ABV and a much more robust profile since, apparently, Toro is warmer than, say, Rioja or Ribera del Duero. And the food… This time, we had cheese(manchego?) in olive oil with warm crusty bread. And the most amazing Iberian pork long ribs, marinated in a sweet, tangy sauce — I asked but the ingredients were kept secret… I suspect juniper berry, among others… We also had the best ensaladilla rusa(potato salad with tuna) I’ve ever had — creamy, fresh and still slightly al dente. And then we had an amazing seared tuna loin in citrus oil(OMG)! And also some monkfish ceviche, whereas, this ceviche wasn’t at all acidic, but had a very pleasant texture. The service this time was super casual and friendly and expeditious at that!
