Toller Take Away am Mittag. Leckeres Essen für ca. CHF 16.-, da kann man wirklich nichts sagen. Am Abend ändern die Preise allerdings und sind meiner Meinung nach etwas überteuert für das Lokal. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung gibt’s hier aber auf jeden Fall!

Super authentisches Indisches Essen. Am Mittag hats eine gute Auswahl an Menüs, man darf aber auch bestellen.
Zudem darf immer noch etwas anderes probiert werden.
Ein warer Genuss! Zudem sehr sättigend und sehr lecker.
Ich komme wieder. Reservierung empfohlen!

Ich war gestern Abend für ein Take away. Wartezeit war sehr kurz mit max. 15 Min (aber es war auch schönes Wetter und das Restaurant darum nicht so voll). Das Butter Chicken, das Naan, die Poulet Momos und die Mango Lassis waren sehr lecker. Ich werde auf jeden Fall öfter mal wieder vorbeigehen.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally got the chance a few weeks ago for my office birthday lunch. I was a little confused about the order when I first went to place it — what happens is you pick your menu, type of rice, and then you get a «free sample» of one of the other options. Essentially, you get to try two different things in one meal, which is a pretty good deal. Curries are yummy — I tend to prefer their chicken items to their beef — and the naan is not bad as well, if a little oily.

Here is an odd mix fusion cuisine never seening anywhere especially in Zurich. Tandoori chicken is tender but not over powering in favor, shrimp curry goes well with Swiss shrimp’s unique crisp texture. Unusual food in unlikely town. Restaurant is located near newly revived hip industrial area by Toni Ariel, outdoor seating with early Swiss summer sunset background by techno music playing from the 25 hr hotel next door. Zurich’s internationalism betters Geneva’s wealthy refugee environment any time.

Wer mich kennt weiss das ich Liebhaber aber Indischen Küche bin. Heute war ich zusammen mit @borisbaldinger das erste mal in diesem kleinen aber sehr chicen Lokal. Das Interieur mutet moderne Küche an, dass Essen ist aber Traditionell und extrem Lecker. Im aufstrebenden Trendquartiert Züri-​West ist das Restaurant ein paar gehminuten vom neuen Toni-​Areal entfernt.
Es ist Selbstbedienung und das Essen muss abgeholt werden, wird aber Frisch zubereitet. Man bezahlt und geht an Platz, ausser das wir Schlange stehen mussten, ging es dann ruck-​zuck. Da es klein ist war das Restaurant Rappelvoll, dennoch waren dann schnell zwei Plätze frei.
Das man das Menü abholen muss, passt absolut zur indischen Küche. In Indien gibt es immer Buffet in den Kantinen von Mitarbeiter. Es lohnt sich sehr das Restaurant mal auszuprobieren.
Ach ja was ich auch absolut cool finde, die Bank am Tisch. Ich liebe es auf Holzbänken zu sitzen, dass hat so ein Touch rustikaler-​chic.
Tipp: Zu jedem Menü, kann man von einem andern Gericht probieren. Finde ich eine tolle Idee.

Just went here for lunch today with a friend and we both love indian food.
We had the lunch-​menu (Tandoori Chicken with Rice and Naan) and it was delicious!
Good flavours and the Naan was made to order. Quick and friendly service as well. The only thing I didn’t like too much was the homemade ice tea, which was just not sweet enough for me ;-).
We’ll definitely come back for lunch or maybe even for dinner.

A nice Indian (with a touch of Nepalese) restaurant in Zürich out of the few I’ve tried so far. I was satisfied with the variety of spices in the curries. I recommend ordering a variety of them and sharing family style. The prices are quite reasonable relative to the norm in Zürich.

Endlich mache ich meine Drohung wahr, und schreibe ein Update zu meinem letzten Eintrag. Was hat sich seither verändert?
Als wichtigste Neuerung ist sicher hervorzuheben, dass man nun auch über Mittag à la carte bestellen kann. Die Menüs werden frisch zubereitet, man nimmt die kurze Wartezeit gerne in Kauf.
Das Ganze wird ansprechend präsentiert, angenehm gewürzt und auch nett scharf. Wirklich ein Upgrade!
Die Bedienung ist auch immer noch sehr freundlich, wirklich erfreulich.
Kürzlich litt ich unter geistiger Umnachtung, beziehungsweise ich konnte mich nicht erinnern was ich bestellt habe, merkte darum nicht, dass mir das falsche serviert wurde. Ich habe es dennoch genossen. Nach der Hälfte kann der Chef auf die Terrasse, entschuldigte sich und stellte mir mein richtiges Menü hin. Das ist Service.
Alles in allem hat es sich hier definitiv zum Guten gewendet, und wir kommen mittlerweile einmal pro Woche hierhin zum Essen. Ein Gewinn für das Quartier.

I went here in the evening around 8 — I wasn’t sure if it was still open but it was. We ordered samosas as a starter, I had a beef curry which was the daily special and my partner had butter chicken. The samosas were very nice and big, home made not frozen. The curries were excellent as well. Not typical Indian maybe, but they’re meant to be Nepalese and I really enjoyed them. The price was good for Zurich — rice is an extra item though. I haven’t checked out this restaurant for lunch, but I feel happy to recommend it for the evening.
