Also ich bin hier etwas hin und her gerissen. Wirklich vom Hocker hat es mich ja nicht gehauen, dieses Curry, habe schon sehr viel bessere gegessen. Der Salat zum Menu mit Getränk (Preis in Ordnung) war für mich in Ordnung. Einfach etwas sehr riesige Salatblätter und in mega viel Sauce getränkt — aber ich liebe viel Sauce. Ob andere das auch als lecker empfinden, bin ich mir aber nicht ganz sicher.
Mir gefällt das Konzept mit den Salaten selber zusammenstellen sehr gut — die Sauce — Agavendicksaft-​Balsamico — war nämlich OMG SO lecker!!! :D Von den Curries werde ich aber die Hände lassen! :D
Mir gefällt auch das Ambiente — sehr modern, klar, freundlich, hell und doch irgendwie gemütlich.
Komme sehr gerne wieder um mehr zu probieren! :)

I love this place! It’s really clean and minimalistic with a great ambiance. Although pricey, the food is amazing and it’s one of my favorite places to get a good, big Salad in Zurich. My friend had a curry and he loved it. You wait for your food with a buzzer on your table. We went during lunch time rush hour and waited about 5−10min which is fine.

No, thank you. The ambiance of this place is great but the food is awful. The restaurant is clean and minimal in design. It is very eco conscious. I went in today for the first time to grab a takeaway lunch. They have three very large menus. One is for salads. One is for sandwiches. One is for beverages. I ordered a sandwich and was told that I could only pick a sandwich that was premade and sitting in the case. Now this place touts itself on being freshmade. Why wouldn’t they make me a freshmade sandwich that is listed on their menu? I settled for the almost day old mozzarella quesadilla concoction, blech, it was terrible. It was supposed to be mozzarella cheese with vegetables. After I took a bite I found those vegetables swimming in thousand island dressing. Horrible. I also purchased a slice of carrot cake, hands down the worst carrot cake I have ever had. It was sand paper dry and the frosting wasn’t a cream cheese frosting. It was tasteless and terrible. The prices, if the food was good, are great. However since the food is inedible (and you can’t order off the menu they display) it isn’t worth it. Will not return.

Die Zutaten sind frisch und aus regionaler Produktion, ohne Konservierungsmittel verarbeitet. Das günstigste Schnäppchen ist der Classic-​Salat für CHF 12.50, der mit drei Zutaten nach Wahl ergänzt werden kann. Es locken etwa Artischocken, Tomaten und Oliven oder die Kombination von Mango, Trauben und Baumnüsse.
Es gibt leckere Brote, Wraps, Käsekuchen und Brownies. Ebenso gibt es jeden Abend eine andere Karte mit verschiedenen Gerichten, zum Beispiel herrlichen Suppen und köstlichen asiatischen Currys. Natürlich kann man die Speisen bei Dean & David auch mitnehmen.
Mein persönlicher Tipp: frisch gepresste Wellness-​Gemüse-​Drinks und die gesunden Fast-​Food Hotspots — müsst ihr unbedingt ausprobieren. :-)

Salads are very good if a little pricey at ca. CHF 20.
Avoid lunch time rush though… Sloooow. Just waited 24 mins for a Chicken Ceasar
