Babu’s Bakery & Coffeehouse

Einzigartige Location, freundliche Bedienung, grosse Auswahl. Wie mussten zwar lange warten, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Ich mag es und habe mir vorgenommen öfter hier her zu kommen. Ein Shop ist auch noch integriert, mit div. frischen Drinks und Snacks to go.

Schlicht Entspannung pur, gemütlich, selbst CHF 8.50 für einen Hauch von «Rührei nature» kann dieses Gefühl nicht trüben! Dennoch, gutstes Team vom Babu’s: ein kurzer Gedanke über die Gestaltung des Preises in Relation zur Leistung wäre nicht verschwendet!

Hmmm tja das Babu’s ist ein bisschen hit’n’miss. Die Smoothies sind super lecker, die Kuchen auch lecker und ich mag auch die Rösti echt gerne. Oder die Suppen.
Aber andere Sachen wie etwa der Cappucchino oder der Gemüseteller sind leider echt nicht so der Knaller. Hab letztes mal meinen Cappucchino zwei mal zurückgeben lassen, weil ich dachte, da wäre etwas schief gelaufen aber anscheinend ist der immer so wässrig.
Die Bedienung ist total nett und freundlich, Hut ab dafür, aber das Konzept ist leider etwas unorganisiert. Man wird nämlich nicht am Tisch bedient, was viel mehr Sinn machen würde, sondern muss erst einen Tisch suchen, dann an der Thecke anstehen und bestellen und dann wird einem das Essen nachher gebracht. Das ist echt unlogisch, weil sich so immer né riesen Schlange bildet, die Kellner oftmals nicht sicher sind, an welchen Tisch sie jetzt was bringen mûssen und man ohne was zu bestellen oberlocker 4 Stunden da sitzen kann, was zwar ganz nett ist, wenn man arbeiten will, aber für das Café wohl nicht soooo schlau ist.
Ansonsten ist es echt ein süsses Lokal, gemütlich im Landhausstil eingerrichtet, mit nettem Personal und gemütlicher Athmosphere. Manchmal etwas chaotisch, laut und sehr voll aber trotzdem irgendwie gut.

Pretty awesome breakfast, different then most of your swiss breakfast places. Gets really crowded and there can be a little bit of a wait. Brunch on Saturdays is fantastic but that
is even worse on the wait then weekdays.

This place was packed! If you haven’t heard — go in, grab a table, and then take the table number up to the counter when you order.
My husband and I both ordered the original breakfast. Food was to die for! Best breakfast spot we went to in Zurich.

We loved the pancakes. Just delicious. The place itself is cute and perfect to relax. The only negative thing which actually is one of the most important things in my opinion was, that young lady who served us… She either was having a bad day or it’s just her personality. Hmm but I’d definitely go again! xo

Wir waren schon öfter am Samstag hier zum Brunchen. Dann wird der Laden regelmässig überrannt und ist komplett voll was es leider verunmöglicht spontan (ohne ewig zu warten) reinzuschauen. Ein Opfer seines eigenen Erfolges… Die Brunch Menus sind aber immer noch allererste Sahne und auch den relativ hohen Preis wert. Einzig die Lattes z.B. mit Caramel Sirup fand ich nicht soooo berauschend.

Super süsses Café.
Sehr gemütliche Inneneinrichtung und sehr süsses Café.
Draussen hats auch ein paar Plätze allerdings an einer Strasse.
Sehr guter Milchschaum.
Leckeres Abgebot an selbst gebackenem Kuchen.

Leider auch meist sehr voll und schwierig Plätze zu bekommen…
Man bestellt an der Theke und bekommt die Sachen an den Tisch gebracht.

Ganz nette Atmosphäre, aber es hatte um 18.00 uhr weder Kuchen noch anständige Smoothies. Und die also frisch angepriesene Waffel war lediglich aufgewärmt, trotz sehr stolzen Preisen. Knapper Fail.

Die Gartenwirtschaft von Babu zentral im Bauhausviertel der Züricher City gelegen. Schönes bunte Landhaus Vintage Ambiente. Die Oma hat in schlechten Zeiten aus den Mehlsäcken auch Tischdecken und allen möglichen Kram gemacht. Haben wir heute noch. Man weiss ja nie. Der Powerbar mit Trockenobst und Nüssen kostet nicht mehr als es Branchli im Supermarkt. Ich mag die Lage insbesondere auch aus persönlichen astrologischen Gründen Tiefe Wassermann, Höhe Löwe. Vielleicht ja ein Kraftzentrum.

Came here for lunch. Very cute/​quaint ambiance and would visit again for this reason.
Would pass on the food. Ordered the Salad w/​Chicken and it was so so. All the ingredients were set on a plate, not mixed. The dressing was in a gravy boat on the salad plate; felt like it wasted a lot of plate space that could of been for food. Not worth the price, and the flavor didn’t make up for this.
Ordered an Americano and it was good. Light/​Med body coffee. Would come back for coffee and the casual spot to meet a friend.
They have table bread they cut for you and bring to your table. Bread was good.

Heute war ich zu Besuch beim Babu’s Bakery. Jedoch muss ich zugeben dass ich vom Service ziemlich enttäuscht war.
Für ein Vanille Ice Mocca musste ich 10 Minuten warten, was nicht weiter schlimm ist aber die Bedienung war äußerst unfreundlich und konnte sich nicht entscheiden ob sie nun Mundart oder Hochdeutsch mit mir sprechen sollte.
Zudem fühlten wir uns nicht willkommen, keine Begrüssung. Hauptsache man (n) ist schnell durch mit der Bestellung.
Der Mocca war schwach, extrem verdünnt, mehr Milch als Kaffee. (fast wie der Americano bei Starbucks (und der ist wesentlich besser!) und der Cappuccino meiner Frau war seiner schlecht. Mehr Schaum als Kaffee. Ganz ehrlich, ich geh lieber zum Starbucks, zahle bisschen mehr aber hab wenigstens einen Kaffee der mir schmeckt und man sich willkommen fühlt.
Ich weiß nicht ob die Bedienung mit dem schlechten Fuß ausgestanden ist oder im Stress war, wobei dies keine Entschuldigung ist für ihr Verhalten gegenüber dem Kunde.
Es war unser erster Besuch hier und bestimmt auch der Letzte. Nichtsdestotrotz ist der Laden schön dekoriert mit vielen Leckereien.

Im Babu’s lässt es sich gut leben. Dieses relativ grosse Coffehouse lädt zum verweilen ein. Egal ob man sich mit Freunden trifft oder in Ruhe seine Zeitung liest, die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und heimelig.
Die Auswahl an Essen ist für ein Coffehouse riesig! Und dazu noch alles frisch und gewissenhaft zubereitet. Von Bagels, Muffins und Weggli, über Früchte, Rösti und Pancakes bekommt man im Babu’s einfach alles. Ausserdem gibt es, gerade für die Mittagspause, auch warme Speisen.
Spezialisiert ist das Lokal zwar auf Kaffee, doch es wird auch grossen Wert auf die Qualität des Tees gelegt. Ich habe sonst nirgends in Zürich «einfach so» einen selbstgemachten Chai bekommen — Ganz ohne künstliches Sirup.
Das einzige was mich von einem fünften Stern abhält ist die Bedienung. Bei meinem Besuch waren alle anwesenden sichtlich demotiviert, genervt und schon fast etwas unfreundlich. Nicht gerade super, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Tag gerade erst angefangen hat.

Kürzlich war ich im Bab’s für ein Frühstück verabredet. Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtetes (Vintage Style) und das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das gute und frische Angebot überzeugten mich!

I already came here a few times for the simple breakfast (bread, cheese, home made confiture) yum and good value for money. I like their juices, teas and coffee too. Haven’t tried something different beside that, because it’s just too expensive. Don’t go to Babu’s on a Saturday /​Sunday — too crowded. I love having coffee at Babu’s on a sunny morning — enjoy it outside!

Es könnte gemütlich sein im Babu’s. Aber das Kaffi mit den leckeren Kuchen und Wähen ist chronisch überfüllt und hat ein Gäste-​Management-​Problem. Leute in der Schweiz wissen nicht, was anstehen bedeutet geschweige denn, eine ordentliche Warteschlange zu bilden. Das Personal ist schnell überfordert (auch wenn das Kaffi nicht voll ist). Wer dumm in der Gegend rumstehen mag bis ein Plätzchen frei wird das nicht noch schnell unter der Nase weggeschnappt wird, fühlt sich hier wohl. Ansonsten empfehle ich die frischen und leckeren Backwaren mitzunehmen und z. B. zuhause gemütlich zu geniessen.

Fantastic brunch and service! We visited Zurich this past weekend and per usual I had scouted out a number of dining options for us. Babu’s is a place you might normally pass by; but once you peek inside you find a packed café with hip decorations and mouthwatering baked goods on display.
Our waitress came by and we pointed to the tiered plates that we saw on a few tables. She explained that the portion would feed both of us and we could also choose between eggs or pancakes in addition to the included OJ and coffees of our choice.
In no time we were sipping on delicious cappuccinos and the freshest orange juice. Then just as quickly she delivered the brunch masterpiece which included homemade brioche, rolls, jams, muesli, fruit, cheese and cured meats. Everything was so delicious and we hardly had room once the eggs and pancakes arrived, but we of course suffered through :)
As with everything in Switzerland, foods comes at a hefty price but once you make peace with that, you are ready for Babu’s.

Ich liebe dieses Kaffee und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Bedienung war bisher immer liebevoll und fröhlich. (In Züri!!!)

Lecker, sehr gemütlich, sehr freundliches Personal. Etwas teuer, aber für ein Kaffee das perfekte Lokal.

Ein Mix aus Coffee-​House, Oma’s Stube und einer Studentenbude. Hier gibts leckeren Kaffee, frisches Hausgemachtes zu essen und einen sehr inspirierenden Buzz unterschiedlichster Menschen.
Die Küche ist speditiv und weiss was sie macht. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Wifi ist schnell und stabil :))
Wer zum Mittag hier essen will muss entweder früh dran sein oder reservieren. An den Tischen gibts fast nur fliegende Wechsel

Hier gibt es allerlei hausgemachte Leckereien. Ich habe hier schon einen Green Smoothie, Soja-​Cappuccino, gegrilltes knackiges Gemüse mit Hüttenkäse und einen der hausgemachten Eistees probiert. Die Preise sind eher hoch, doch wenigstens stimmt die Qualität.
In diesem Café gibt es ein cooles Konzept: Tisch erspähen, dann vorne Bestellung aufgeben und bezahlen, Platz aufsuchen und die Köstlichkeiten servieren lassen.
Es erinnert mich an eine lokale Version von Starbucks. Der Service ist sehr schnell und die Leute, die dort arbeiten, unglaublich freundlich und höflich.
Sie haben übrigens auf kostenloses Wifi! YAY! :)
Hier komme ich gerne wieder, es eignet sich perfekt um zu arbeiten, mit einer Freundin den ganzen Nachmittag zu schwatzen oder schnell was zum Mitnehmen zu bestellen. Dabei Soja-​Cappuccino oder huusgmachte IIstee schlürfen. Yummi. Gerne wieder! :)

Super Café in Zürich — wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und ein Muß für jeden meiner Zürich-​Besuche. Ist für mich auf einem ähnlichen Level und daher durchaus vergleichbar mit Barcomi’s in Berlin!

I debated between a one and two star review today but went ahead with two because one of my gripes was not the fault of Babu’s. If you come here with kids beware the other patrons are super kid intolerant. I had the idiot behind me keep elbowing me in my back whenever my child would climb under my table. My child was not being loud or running amuck, she just wanted to sit under the table and this @$$**** had the nerve to elbow me in my back. She was lucky I was with my child. Then when I went to the restroom to change my child another patron literally kept yanking on the door handle every 30 seconds. I was in the restroom for four minutes total, yes I timed it, and this old buzzard rattled the handle six times. She then rolled her eyes at me when I came out of the restroom. Now, on to my actual review of Babu’s. I love Babu’s vegetarian quiche. So delicious. I was craving it which is why I went today. I ordered the quiche and to my surprise, they switched out the vegetables. They normally use peppers, tomatoes, asparagus, etc. not today. They served a vegetarian quiche that only had brussel sprouts, globs and globs of brussel sprouts! I don’t mind brussel sprouts at all but one quiche should not have 15 brussel sprouts and how about throwing in another vegetable or two? Who the heck wants to eat a brussel sprout quiche? Just rotten. I am done with Babu’s. I will never eat there again.

Warm eingerichtet; viel Platz, gute Kaffees, feine und frische Torten und Kuchen, american breakfast wie Rösti und Spiegeleier, Rührei, Müslis usw! Frische Smoothies, Säfte etc! Die gute Qualität hat bekanntlich aber ihren Preis… Höher sollten sie nicht gehen… Jedoch ist alles wirklich sehr lecker

Really nice place, great decoration. You really want to spend time there and to taste all the delicious cakes they have displayed.
Only negative point is that it is hard to get a seat. Therefore a nice moment can turn into a pain for the place is often packed…

Wunderbar urig eingerichtetes Café in Zürich: man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
Wenn man die Auswahl der Leckereien betrachtet ist man mehr als überfordert. Alles sieht wunderbar lecker und frisch aus!
Man kann wunderbar frühstücken und wird unglaublich verwöhnt. Alle Dinge schmecken hervorragend und sind toll angerichtet!
Wer in Zürich übernachtet, sollte hier unbedingt zum Frühstück einkehren!

Seit seiner Eröffnung ist das Babu’s Bakery & Coffeehouse immer gut besucht. Das überrascht wohl keinen, der auch nur ein einziges Mal die herrlichen selbstgemachten Leckereien kosten durfte. Die Kuchen sind so fantastisch, dass schon beim Hinsehen die Entscheidung schwerfällt, das Kräuter-​Focaccia ist ein Knüller und die Smoothies sind megafein und megagesund. Die Auswahl reicht von diversen Frühstücken plus Birchermüsli und Pancakes über Backwaren und Salate bis hin zu Mittagsgerichten — hausgemacht, versteht sich. Alles habe ich noch nicht probiert — aber alles was ich probiert habe, war überzeugend!
Das einzige, was manchmal etwas chaotisch abläuft, ist das «Bringen der Speisen, die zuvor an der Theke bestellt wurden». Dafür entschädigt die gemütliche Einrichtung beim Warten und das Essen sorgt sofort beim Eintreffen wieder für beste Stimmung.
Das Konzept zum superleckeren Café Babu´s fand seinen Ursprung im Kaffee Klatsch in Davos. Hier wurde das Bestellen an der Theke, das Bringen der Speisen und die hausgemachten Speisen ein solcher Renner, dass klar war, so etwas müsste auch in Zürich funktionieren. Seit der Umsetzung dieser Idee, brummt das Babus ununterbrochen. Und wenn die gute Küche und die gute Atmosphäre bleiben, wird das brummen wohl auch nicht wieder aufhören.

OK, I never went to the place itself, though I tried on some occasion but it was always crowded (that’s what happen when you plan to go in a renowned place in Zurich without anticipation, isn’t it?).
Regardless, a colleague brought croissants from there at work and I tried one. I can’t say how much they cost, that’s for sure, but I can say that they are among the best croissants I’ve tried in Switzerland (if not the best). So I give a 5 stars review to the croissant and will try to check the place itself later if I get the chance.

Babu’s is so good that I have told friends coming to Zurich that they must visit!
Delicious (non-​lo-​cal) pastries, and the best cappuccino in Europe (so far… but on a mission to prove myself wrong).
Watch out for the salt container on the table — with my first coffee here, I mistook it for the sugar container… surprise! In my defense, the staff said that happens all the time (but they quietly removed the salt when they put my replacement beverage on the table).
Ten minute walk from the Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), easy to find (sign on the building that can be seen a block away). Lots of shopping nearby. Lots of locals here — moms with baby strollers, couples, friends, and singles at the bar stools near the window.
Just find a seat (shared tables) and enjoy. Bring a book to read or friend to talk with because you will want to spend time here.
This would be my neighborhood hangout if I moved to Zurich…

nettes home-​style brunch Restaurant
Ideal für ein gemütliches Frühstück. Mit herrlicher Auswahl.
Es gibt verschiedene Pakete zum auswählen. zB. eine Scheibe Zopf, ein Brötchen, Marmelade und Früchte.
Der Zopf war sensationell und sehr lecker. Es gibt natürlich auch Eierspeisen, Rösti etc. sollte also für jeden etwas dabei sein.
Der frischgepresste Orangensaft ist gut, hab auch einen stolzen Preis.
Der hausgemachte IceTee war ok, der Chai hat mich schon eher überzeugt.
Es ist das klassische System: zuerst auswählen und bezahlen, dann Tisch suchen und warten bis das Essen kommt. Was mich persönlich nicht stört.
Das ganze ist kunterbunt eingerichtet mit einem familiären Styl.
Das Restaurant kann sehr schnell voll sein, also zur Sicherheit besser reservieren.

I’ve heard about this place but didn’t realize that it was just around the corner from Vior (old Sugar Lounge) until I went to look for this place because my out-​of-​town guest wanted to check it out. (He had found it highly rated on Unilocal,;))
It was pretty packed when we walked in, and I was almost afraid that we couldn’t get a seat, but then we snagged a spot at the corner of the long table near the front entrance.
The place is cute and really looks homey. I saw lots of girls having brunch there, and some guys who were there with their female partners. We were a bit confused about how things worked at first, but I guess you find a seat, order at the counter and tell them your table number, and then they bring the food to you?
I couldn’t decide what to order (everything on the menu looked so good!) and finally settled on a cappuccino and blueberry pancakes. The cappuccino came with a lovely heart design on top. I love it when I get coffee art in my drinks. :)
The blueberry pancakes were a bit smaller than what I expected (I guess I had delusions of grandeur coming from the U.S.), but they were still cute and served with powdered sugar and maple syrup. I thought the food was fine, but nothing spectacular that blew me away. I guess just normal, thick pancakes. I did like the fresh blueberries though.
All-​in-​all, nice food in a cute place. But a teensy bit overpriced by American standards. (I guess normal by Swiss standards though.)

I only had coffee at Babu’s and while it was nothing spectacular, it was solid. What makes Babu’s deserving of four stars is:
1: Nice ambiance, casual, some shared tables, nice place to meet a friend for coffee and a chat
2. Free tap water! This is not always easy to get in Zürich
3. This is the big one: OPEN on SUNDAY!!!

Probably Zürich’s most popular brunch place, which is proof that there is a huge demand for more of them. If you want to eat in the restaurant, you must make sure to first find seats — just walk right in and start looking for tables. The tables are meant to be shared, so you can join another existing party with free chairs at their table. Put your things down on the chairs to claim your spot and remember the table number. Then go back to order your stuff and give them your table number. An even better strategy is to have someone wait in line while someone looks for a table. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for spots to open up, which can be stressful when a lot of people are looking for tables and there is no waiting list. But be patient — the food (and maybe the coffee) is worth it.

Very nice coffee place in the middle of the city !!
I was actually hesitating to give it a 3 star, just because the waitress was really not nice. Even a bit mean. But the place is so nice and cosy that it really deserve a 4 star.
It just to be a Pain Quotidien (belgian bakery chain). But they closed and changed it in a more cosier coffee place. It really get crowded at noon. But its perfect for a nice tea and a piece of cake after your shopping in the city.
The housemade limonade is just over delicious !!! You really have to try it !

OmG Leute — wo war ich denn die ganze Zeit bloss gewesen? Unfassbar.
Das BABU’S ist genau meine Location. An einem eigentlich ganz und gar unattraktiven Ort holt dieses BAKERY&COFFEEHOUSE nun einfach alles aus Sich heraus! Chic — liebevoll — zauberhaft romantisch und ohne jeden Kitsch im Landhaus-​Stil eingerichtet.
Es bietet echt es alles was ich zum Sonntaax-​Frühstück liebe und noch vieles vieles mehr. Es ist hier uuuuuunglaublich lecker und um all das zu kosten muss ich wohl an 52 Sonntagen hier einchecken…
Ein simples BABU’S-Brötli allein läuft fast schon all den «ordinären» 08:15 Frühstücksbuffets den Rang ab. Ich bin hin&weg. Nur zu Hause ist es besser!
Und jetzt — zu meiner Überraschung, sind die Preise für ein anständiges Z’morge wie ich es mir gönnte — mit Volldinkelbrötli, Früchtebrötli, Rühr-​Ei nature mit Brot und Espresso für keine 16.- gar nicht mal so teuer. Und ich bin soowas von satt!

I’ve been searching for a coffee shop like this — reminds me of the neighborhood haunts in Berkeley, rather than a giant chain.
We stopped in just before they closed for a little dessert; the decaf cappuccinos were good if a little milky, and had some of the best latte art I’ve seen in the area. The «brownie» was more of a flourless chocolate cake, but quite good.
The star of the show was the waffle, though — we went simple with just sugar and cinnamon, which hit the spot. Crispy on the outside, but with a tender inside, and the right balance of sweetness and butter. Definitely worth eating hot.
Round out the experience with brick walls, mid-​90s alternative, and hipster staff, and this really just feels like home.

This place has been in my bookmarked list to be tried for some time now after reading all the great reviews. I was not disappointed. The ambiance as everyone has already stated is cute. I wouldn’t say cosy, as even at 3:30pm for a late lunch it was incredibly cramped. I can see why they don’t trust you to take your own food and drink to a spot, they would probably have many an accident. Just to get to my spot today I had to climb over many shopping bags and wet things.
Also, a very helpful tip after reading through the reviews was regarding first getting a spot, remembering the number of the table, and then going to get your order. However, the bar by the window isn’t numbered, so I just had to point to my seat.
I couldn’t resist the fresh herb focciaca sandwich which is served heated, and a raspberry pastry with the coffee of the month. Everything was delivered to my spot correctly, and with a smile. The service was great and the food was delicious. I found the prices to be equivalent to other Swiss cafes.
Awesome that they have WIFI, but it wasn’t wanting to be friendly with my computer for some reason. It connected for like one minute only. That is the only negative thing I can say. I usually like to go to a coffee place and relax with a book, but I wouldn’t be able to do that here, as the place is humming with a vibrant energy of people and chatter. I would definitely see myself hanging out here with friends often if this place was in my neck of the woods.
I hadn’t seen anyone mention this, but they do have a fidelity punch card that you can get, buy so many and get one free.
Also positive that they are open till 8:00pm.

4 stars b/​c: selection and quality of java/​beverages, good service (from people who look like they want to be there, refreshing!), and special «character» that is lacking in many other coffee houses in Zurich.
Many other great reviewers before me said enough to persuade me to try out this place without regrets!
Some ABCs of Babu’s for newbies:
— Find a seat, «claim it» with your personal property. Remember the number of the table (denoted on the napkin holder).
— Line up to order. Tell them where you are sitting (pref w table number).
— Sit down, relax whilst waiting. The servers will bring you your food based on where you told them you are sitting.
— Peak hours = Weekends throughout the day esp inclement weather. Can get jammed packed with people not finding available seats at times.
— Stay away if looking for peace and quiet in a coffee shop on the weekends. But it has lots of special character, something you don’t really find in coffee shops within this city.
— This coffee shop actually takes reservations (?!) for bigger parties in advanced (no same day reservies). Parties of 2 reservies not accepted, as it’s not considered a big party. :-)
— Many things are just scrumptious here but for starting the day I’d go for the waffles. It comes with a side/​topping of various options and are sweet enough without needing a side of maple syrup, which the American side of me impulsively wanted but realized didn’t need it, after all.
— WiFi is really spotty during «peak hours» so don’t rely on it too much.

Fresh apple saft? Why sure, yes please!
It tasted like it was just juiced off the trees.
And the coffee crème was basic, but quite fantastic–
if you come here for breakfast or lunch: gotta have it!
But a (self-​proclaimed) brunch conniseur, this I must admit:
the food: great, but portions: TINY! Babu, step it up a bit.

I’d give it an extra star for the ambiance. It is probably one of the most inviting spots in town to have a sit-​down and a nibble. I went by to check the area, (House Hiltl is right around the way) stop in and try a beverage. The capp with a little bit o’cake on the side was gorgeous, if, however, not up to snuff if one is a fan of ‘third-​wave’ espresso drinks a la Gorilla and Joe’s in NYC and Monmouth, Dark Fluid, Speakeasy et al in LDN.
I loved being able to sit at the window, sip my drink, and watch passersby. That’s the best way to enjoy a coffee. Regarding service, I found it to be very fine indeed. The folk were nothing but professional and friendly. I suppose if I were to become a more frequent visitor, then I may have to contend with occasional ‘spotty’ service as Laura A. mentioned in her review. The place is so darn good-​looking, that I’d take the so-​so service just to be able to sit somewhere so very nice.
