This gondola takes you up Leiterli to the top of my favorite hiking trail ever. From the top, you can spend the day wandering all the way down the picturesque mountain and stopping at a few of these entertainments along the way: — Kid-sized«marmot holes» dug into the mountain — Rope bridge — Zip line — Mountainside farm where you can taste and buy fresh cheese — Pond with plentiful frogs and fish — Restaurant/hotel with a filling Swiss-German lunch(or cold beer) — Impressive wooden climbing structure for kids of all ages — Outdoor«find the animal» taxidermy exhibit I believe it’s also an active ski gondola in winter.
