A tiny museum next to and above the north cove café — perhaps 30 minutes worth looking on your own, or 45 if you get the(very leisurely) tour of the first floor from the white-haired volunteer. The first floor is set up as a nice house(plenty of lace, not the everyday fisherman’s life). The glass fishes brandished by the guide are in the shape of the local herring. Upstairs there’s a few rowboats, a bunch of fishing equipment, some skis and firearms, and a bunch of tools — everything from mallets to a vintage lathe. A nice little bit of history, either before or after your café visit.
