Emergency time needs emergency measure. Our office in Malmö has no canteen, so every workers are left to fend off for themselves. This prompted me to take good look around our office across Anna Lindh plats. The Asian genes in me yearn for food when I walked past this place, but like in Cooenhagen — I don’t really trust shady«thai take away» place like this place looks like. I braced myself in however, for the nearby choices were 7 – 11, some even more obscure chain called Redfellas(seen all over town) and Barista(Baresso lookalike) and I wasn’t in the mood for bad kiosk food or overpriced hipster sandwich. I ordered the«today dishes» nr 8b which was tofu & vegetables in green curry with rice that scarily looked like one of those thai box /china box thingie on Strøget. But it’s cheap at SEK60 and quite big portion, with rice. At this moment — I was ready even to chew paper due to my hunger. Service was very super fast — I guess they are used to handle hungry & wandering office workers and the food turned out to be ok. It wasn’t interstellar, but it was not bad either. You can taste the green curry sauce and a little bit of spice(as advertised«mellan sterk») and the tofu and vegetables weren’t overcooked. It could be I was biased because of my hunger pang but I’d totally say ok for the price & the taste & the portion. I finished my lunch hour at work happier since I was full with rice & tofu. What else does anyone ever want but full stomach in their daily lives? So, three stars it is!
