This place is fantastic. The ambiance, the food, the prices, it’s all great. Quite cozy.

Great coffee, great desserts, great atmosphere. Feels super homey with a bit of kitschy and hipster mixed in. Jokes aside, the place is great, they have blankets, great couches inside, and some nice chairs and tables outside(for the one hour when it stops raining). In terms of food, they’ve got real food but why eat real food when you can have brownies for lunch… and then follow it up with mixed drinks for dinner. Only drawback is some desserts are too sweet for me which really just means I should try more desserts.

This is a very cozy place with yummy cakes and cookies, good coffee and variety of tea. Go here for a cozy talk with a friend or a nice study session. Nothing bad about it! Just go :)

When I studied in Lund ten years ago, this was my favorite café. The food was good, the cakes where good, the atmosphere was fantastic. It continued to be my favorite café in Lund for several years, but about four years ago it suddenly changed. All the salads and toasts suddenly taste the same, the cakes are either the same that you buy in a plastic bag in the supermarked or boring. The tables are never clean, and there are dishes everywhere. The good atmosphere is just gone. I read somewhere that they had changed the owner at some point, and I think if that might be the reason the quality suddenly is so much lower? I loved to come here, but now I rather visit other cafés in Lund instead — at least when the weather don’t allow you to sit outside. Because the outdoor seating is still rather nice.

They really love their root vegetables here! Nearly all of their dishes will be served with root vegetables, whether it’s in the salad or the actual dish. I prefer it being in the salad … because sometimes the root veggies just don’t work with the dish. Example: they put it in their enchilada. Granted, I’m eating a Mexican dish in Sweden. But still, come on. I think they just called it an enchilada because they stuffed some meat and veggies into a maize tortilla and topped it with marinara and cheese. Then why 4 stars? Their service is awesome — patient and friendly servers. The atmosphere and interior is beautifully cozy. It’s a small, rustic cottage /antique store feel if that makes sense? I love the trinkets they have hanging around the café. The desserts and coffee drinks are delicious! All of the desserts are made in-house, and they’re so, so, so good. They’ve got quite an array of desserts — from the chocolate ball and the chocolate«mud» cake, to slices of blueberry pie and carrot cake. They’re all equally amazing. It’s the perfect place for fika(Swedish coffee time). The place is kind of small and can get crowded; but if you get there at the right time(early evening-ish), you’ll be able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere with yummy desserts. and maybe a sandwich(because their sandwiches are one of their main dishes that are actually pretty good!)
