At Yogahimsa Ricardo and Per teach you pennalism and bully you. Been practising for 3 years and I can see big holes in there techning especially Ricardo who are not even a licensed yoga teacher. His attempt to lead a ashtanga class was catastrofical, I even question the asanas after the class between him and me as they are not a part of the primary series but he didt understand this(Ricardo). The next week at his Ashatanga class there was a woman who did the same complains as me. He then just talked some random bullshit as he did to me as he always does when you ask him a question. The main techer Per Höglund dosent have the required knowledge to lead the studio. I been getting diffrent instructions from diffrent teachers on the allignment which is very frustrated this should ofc been syncroniced. For example he has been complaning on everyone for over a year to alline the heels in warrior B(to avoid injuries he say, and as the old teching say). But modern studys show that you can get injuries if you do this, you should always have your heels the same distance as the distance of your hip ofc.(try it you will understand). This is something that is very logical and profound but Per fail to see this in this basic asana this makes me very worried that one blind man leads another blind man. His pranayama teaching is also wrong.(Dont get me started there.) There is some good things at this studio in the form of Melissa who is a well experienced teacher. And Sofia who less experienced teacher but is growing every day. Unfortunately Per and Ricardo draws down the studio with there negative attitude at classes and there unability to do the most importen thing as a yoga teacher. What is the most imported thing then? Well that I keep to myself and my students. /Namasté

Do NOT come to yogahimsa studio if you are looking for a kind, encouraging and challenging yoga experience. Do NOT come here if you want to grow your yoga practice, or if you want to learn, or if you want to walk out feeling happy and centered. However, if you are looking for a yoga instructor who yells at you, embarrasses you, humiliates you in front of the class, and stops the class over and over to bully you, then THIS is the place for you! Go for it, & leave your dignity at the door. I have been practicing for over 3 years, I have practiced with dozens of different Yogis/instructors and I have never once seen an instructor treat a student,(especially someone new to their class,) the way I and my cousin were treated. I am from out of town and wanted to practice here in Stockholm, I chose this place because it advertises that walk-ins and new students are welcome and the studio looked like a nice upscale facility. However, this turned out to be the worst yoga experience of my life. I have told everyone in my circle of friends and family how I was treated, they are shocked. I hope they and others who hear my experience can learn from my mistake and avoid this studio. There are so many yoga studios in this city, choose ANY one OTHER than this one. Yoga is first and foremost about acceptance, it’s about you, your yoga mat and challenging yourself to the best of your ability. It is NOT about the teacher and whether the teacher approves of your practice, nor it is about being bullied because the yoga teacher is in a bad mood. I endured over an hour of bullying and being disgraced. I considered waking out, and I considered saying something, but I was in shock and so embarrassed and truly did not know how to react. Now I wish I had walked out. Other notes: They charge you for using a mat. This should be included in the 250kr charge for the one-time class(which should have been a free trial.) They also have no one in reception answering the phones. The yoga teacher IS the receptionist(very awkward) and we could not connect on the phone with anyone the day before to put our name in for the class(no one answered; she must have been bullying other students/teaching at the time.) We were misled into thinking we could show up before class and sign up. She was very annoyed that we were walk ins, which might explain why she treated us so poorly during class.
