I was craving dumplings and found this place on Unilocal. As it wasn’t too far from work, I decided to give it a shot with a friend during lunch. I ordered ten pork dumplings(I grew up eating dumplings and they were always pork so I always order those!) and paid 79 kr, which for Stockholm is a great deal. These dumplings are the pan fried variety, also known as potstickers. These aren’t the kind that you get at Din Tai Fun which are steamed. While waiting for the food I helped myself to a bowl of miso soup which is standard fare at Stockholm Asian restaurants. When the dumplings came, they were accompanied by a carrot and cabbage salad and some rice. I mixed together the soy and vinegar sauce with the chili sauce and took a bite of the first dumpling. The dumpling skin was thinner than some other places in Stockholm so you don’t get as full from the dough. The meat was tasty but I could have used more seasoning. The dip was good but the chili sauce wasn’t spicy at all, so that was a real disappointment. The ten pieces were a good portion size if you’re moderately hungry. They also offer other sizes to accommodate all appetites! I liked their prices and the fact that they’re so close to my office so I’ll definitely be back. However, I can’t give them more than a 3 since the dumplings were only okay. In the meantime, I’ll keep looking for my 5 star dumpling joint. It’s really unfortunate that Stockholm doesn’t have more good quality Chinese food, but this place is a good standby!

A little gem is right. Stumbled on Yan in the pouring rain this evening after getting lost trying to find the location of my original dinner plans. I wasn’t even particularly in the mood for Chinese, but something drew me in, and after I walked by a few times(still wandering aimlessly looking for the other restaurant), I gave up and went in. And boy am I glad I did. The food, service, and general vibe turned my mood around completely. The vegetable dumplings were, I’d say, the best I’ve ever had. Beef noodle soup was fragrantly delicious, it had sort of a cinnamon-y or maybe five-spice scent and flavor to it. The broth was excellent and noodles good. The beef itself was fine though not as great as the broth and noodles. Whole leaf loose green tea after was also very good. I had the restaurant to myself at the time, and was able to speak a fair amount with the woman who prepared my food(and maker of the amazing dumplings). Sweet and friendly, a very pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

A colleague showed this little gem, apparently they’ve been going here a lot lately, and after only one visit I totally understand why. The dumplings are delicious, fresh and really tasty. Sometimes I’m not really sure what’s in a dumpling I’m eating(I can still find it good though) but these dumplings were full of flavor and I could really feel the taste of mushrooms and salmon in the fish dumplings. The shrimp dumplings had big pieces of shrimp of perfect texture. You can choose between 8, 10 or 12 pieces of chicken, beef, pork, vegetarian, salmon or shrimp dumplings, and there are also some other dishes on the menu, e.g., noodle soup. There’s also the choice of mixing different dumplings. I tried salmon, shrimp and vegetarian(10 pieces, 97SEK) — they were all very good. My colleague tried the beef and he enjoyed them very much. Tea, water, and a soup(today it was bean soup, it might vary) included in the price. Several different dip sauces are available as well as prawn crackers. Service was nice and swift. There are about 24 seats inside plus some tables on the side walk.
