One of the best meals and service we had in Stockholm! If you’re a seafood lover, and you love good food, this is the place. It’s super fresh, inventive, and there’s a lot of choices. We did a tasting menu with wine pairing. Again the service is really good here — it is a more business casual place, there was a celebrity couple here during our dinner. I would definitely come back again if I’m in Stockholm.

Excellent fish & seafood restaurant. Professional service but a little bit frugal in its atmosphere. Much preferred for lunch than for dinner! Super tasty dishes of Dover Sole, Turbot, Monkfish, etc. Just go for it!

Magnifico lugar. Ambiente minimalista, decoración sobria y atención perfecta. Cocina francesa aderezada con un toque nórdico. El salmón estaba en su punto. El precio de acuerdo con la calidad. Muy recomendable.

The best classic seafood restaurant in Stockholm, an institution of sorts. That said, do not go here expecting trendy molecular cuisine, with bizarre ingredient combinations, foams, powders, fireworks and so on. Classic, French-inspired seafood cookery is found here, appropriately with little or no garnishes. I ordered a light first course of wonderfully fresh salmon tartare with salmon roe, then, a perfectly cooked Dover sole as my main dish, followed with a simple crème brûlée. Classic, classic, followed by classic. Their wine list was nicely constructed with many options by the glass. The service was professional, mostly older and experienced waitresses served me, and they made me feel at home.

As Stockholm is surrounded by beautiful clean water, I had high expectations for the seafood here. Additionally, I was told and read several times that this is the best seafood restaurant in Stockholm. I’m sure there was some delicious fish under the overbearing salty sauces but given the prices, already painful enough with the USD exchange rate, this was not acceptable. Additionally, the service was very rushed which was surprising as there weren’t that many people in the restaurant and this is, supposedly, a fine dining establishment. There has to be something better for seafood.

Großartig! Geht da hin. Keine Einschränkung an Qualität, Frische und Zubereitung. Extrem freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Zieht Euch etwas Feines an.

Only seafood served at this place… no «burgers» for the non fish eaters, nor are there any«kiddie» meals available, as far as I could tell. Seared scallops with white asparagus were done perfectly. I had this as an appetizer, though I would have loved to try the scallop entrée as well(prepare differently, bacon wrapped, etc.). For my main I had trouble choosing the large prawns or the turbot. I wound up going with the shrimp, which were done quite well… some oily breadcrumb stuff over the top. Took like two or three bites to get through each one of these things. Huge. Delicious. Rounded it out with a crème brûlée because I was too lazy to wait for the dessert cart or tray or whatever it was. Still dreaming about that turbot that I didn’t get… I know it was probably fantastic… going to have to go back! ;)

My partner and I made reservations to dine at this restaurant well in advance and were very glad we did so, as the restaurant certainly lived up to our expectations. We had a wonderful, albeit expensive, meal here. We arrived at the restaurant early to have a drink at the bar. The bar itself was small — probably not more than six seats — and intimate. The bartenders were not particularly friendly nor attentive, but the cocktails they prepared with crisp and delicious. Upon finishing at the bar, we moved to the main restaurant, a cozy and quiet room with beautiful but simple décor. The food was stunning, really. We started with fresh oysters that were simply divine — they practically melted in our mouths. I then has the seared scallops, which were perfectly prepared and accompanied by tender asparagus. The fish I had for my main course was, in one word, perfect. It was cooked exactly as it should have been, and was absolutely delicious. The meal was excellent, however, it cost us nearly $ 400US, which was far too much in my opinion. For that price, I expect an evening at Alinea in Chicago with 14 courses, not a three course meal with two glasses of wine.
