Finally there is now nothing holding you back to get your video games, computer hardware, gadgets — even kitchen equipment and hair care products — without ever leaving Kungsholmen! Webhallen has now also a shop at Fridhemsplan, just outside the entrance of the subway on St Eriksgatan. Good prices — wide selection!
Protip: if you know what you need, go to their website, pick out the stuff and checkout but select «Pick up and pay in store». If the stuff you want is in stock at the store you can reference the order ID immediately (some times I’ve done the shopping on the phone while being in the store, press submit, and then take a queue ticket).
If you haven’t been to Webhallen before it is good to know that this is not a store with miles of shelves which you can walk around. That’s what you use the website for. In the store you just tell them what you need, and they descend into their storage space below and get it for you.
This particular Webhallen does also have a lounge area with a small café decorated with references to games, particularly older Nintendo 8-​bit games. This is where you get your fika in a geeky retro gaming way!
