I guess the thing to remember is that you’re paying to sit, relax and have a cup of coffee or tea. Otherwise, 30kr for a large coffee seems insane. So have a nice, long conversation with your friends. Still, for the price I wouldn’t mind if they at least poured the coffee for me instead of just giving me a cup and letting me get it from the dispenser. This takes 90% of the charm out of the cup of coffee for me. I like the raised platform in front of the window and there seemed to be an upstairs but I didn’t visit. It’s just a regular, old, nothing special coffee-house but it’s a chain so that sucks. On the plus side, it’s a Swedish chain and as of now it’s still based in Sweden so at least you’re lining the coffers of the Swedish system by going here. Their CEO says this«Starbucks provides fast-food coffee, while we put more effort in brewing coffee, so it tastes much better. You can call it high-quality coffee.» There was absolutely zero coffee aroma that I noticed at this location, so I’m not sure I noticed a focus on brewing and the coffee tasted like the coffee I drink anywhere. Just trying to find a reason to support a cookie-cutter chain over an independent coffee shop and I really see none.
