The waiter did an effort. But it was a waisted effort. What a confusing place. At first no one came over to have us seated even though there is a sign that says you have to wait for the waiter to be seated. Then someone who looked like a waiter showed up, picked up a glass, ignored us and left. I asked the bar tender and he said to wait for the waiter.
Eventually one showed up who was friendly enough.
I had the Victoria meatballs. They should rename them Victoria’s frozen cardboard. Because they were served still frozen in the core and tasted like cardboard. The brown sauce was tasteless even with copious amounts on salt and pepper added.
I felt sick to my stomach leaving the place.
I can honestly say this was the worst place I’ve had dinner in Stockholm. It’s almost criminal how they get away with charging so much for frozen food.
Avoid this place unless you are into frozen cardboard.

We sat down and no one would serve us. Wouldn’t even take our order! Waiter cleared the entire table next to us and clearly didn’t want to make any effort to assist or grab a server. Tables were waited on either side of us. How rude!

An einem warmen Abend und etwas später sind wir (4 Personen) schnell und freundlich bedient worden. Das Essen war lecker und die Preise auf skandinavischem Niveau.
Nicht für alle Tage aber eine gute Alternative zu den exquisiten locations.

My family and I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. The waitress was extordinarily mean, we had to wait a long time for our food, the food was not very good, and it was all overpriced. Overall, just a terrible experience, so I would not recommend it to anyone because it was such a bad experience.

Da kann ich mich nur anschließen, schöné Atmosphäre, umsichtige und nette Bedienung. Sollte Sie zum Beispiel bei einer mehr als nur lohnenswerten Stadtbesichtigung der Hunger überkommen, diese Lokal ist einen Besuch wert.

Das «Vickan» ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants, direkt im Zentrum von Stockholm.
Warum?
Hier gibt es ein super Ambiente und eine nette Bedienung… und VORALLEM «Kötbüllar med Potatismus», also Fleischklösschen an einer Rahmsauce mit Katroffelpüree. Mein schwedisches Leibgericht ist nirgends so lecker wie hier!
